Del Taco — Restaurant in Spring Valley

WHERE IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND HOW ARE YOU STILL OPERATING???? My partner and I were on a (30min) lunch break and left empty handed. We went into this facility and ordered our food. My girlfriend went to wash her hands in the restroom and saw a gentleman come out of the restroom without washing his hands. The gentleman then proceeded to behind the counter where he stood and was PICKING his neck and looking at his fingers. He then proceeds to make my partner's fries. By this time we were completely disgusted. My partner and I both have health cards and know the regulations. The GENERAL manager herself was smacking gum open mouthed standing over a food surface. My girlfriend asked for a refund and told the general manager about the employee who did not wash his hands and was picking at himself while making food. At this point we were late to return to work on time from our lunch break and MY ORDER was never made... 20 minutes after we ordered. At this point my food was forgotten and I had to remind the woman what I ordered. The general manager hands me my order and says "he was wearing gloves this time", of course after he contaminated the entire glove box by still not washing his hands. I will never return and I hope the health department visits soon and handles this. So disgusting. Wow , looking at all the one star reviews and comments I can't believe something hasn't been done to correct it . I rarely come here , but luckily I haven't really had any problems other than once they were really slow with my order and luckily I came in to order instead of sitting in the drive thru burning gas . There was a large family that ordered before me that was eating in the dining room with several young kids , so I can understand it took a little longer to make all the different items .

I used to go to the West Sahara location for years and never had a problem there and they still made my favorite , the Macho Bacon and Egg Burrito even though it was no longer on the menu . It was a meal by itself ! I come here mostly for the 3 Grilled Chicken Soft Taco Special on Thursdays , Chicken Quesadillas , or Loaded Nachos . I would get the Bacon Double Del Cheeseburger at the Sahara location sometimes , but I haven't had it here .

Today I got the 3 Grilled Chicken Soft Taco Special and Queso Loaded Fries , which I had not had before . They were pretty good and I have no complaints on any of my food . I've never had a problem with any of my food at this location . The times I have come in to order instead of the drive thru the dining room looked clean and organized . The staff I have ordered from have been not overly friendly , but not rude either . ...

Ordered online and showed up 15 minutes later. When I announced my name and said that I ordered online it was like dealing with a deer caught in headlights. He proceeded to have someone else come on the mic, who asked me if I had selected for pick-up now or later. I explained it was sent in for now. They didn't have the order and had me list what the order was (exactly what I was trying to avoid by ordering online. They had me pull up and looked at my phone and who I'm assuming was the manager proceeds to look at me and ask why the order wasn't there... They handed me my phone back and immediately asked me to pull to the front, to which I'm assuming my enthusiasm was showing at this point and she proceeded to give me the excuse of "We're trying to keep our times down." Well, that's why you're timed, not yo further inconvenience me to keep it down. I did only wait about two minutes. I had her look at the order again to confirm it was correct. I was home in less than five minutes and all of the taco and quesadilla cold and I was given four grilled burritos instead of the 2 spicy and 2 gilled I had ordered. I am reminded why I haven't been here in 2.5 years and won't...
