I always make the mistake of eating far too quickly and not grabbing a picture in time before my plate is decimated but I will add pictures on my inevitable return. I’m in Vegas half the week and have learned to find and appreciate the little local gems that lie off strip and nobody knows about.... this Bulgarian Bistro serves a wide variety of eastern European and Mediterranean favorites, servicing the large Vegas Russian community. Our server Maria has taken care of us many a time and is always friendly, efficient and super knowledgeable. We love her and we love the amazing food at BG bistro! The interior is fun, trendy and geared to an evening club feel of music and colorful lights. Clearly it’s appeal to many people is the ridiculously low priced, quality food, the full bar and bottle service available, and the ability to smoke inside. That latter is not my favorite part, but I will tolerate it because the food is just that good. And there’s always outside seating if you don’t want to breathe the smoke. The menu is too long to go on and on about but suffice it to say there’s something for everyone, the traditional and the adventurous, and everything is prepared quickly, hot and delicious. My favorites are the arugula salad which sounds like simple and nothing to write home about but it’s amazing. The lamb chops are my favorite. Delicious tender not gamey, a lovely mushroom sauce and their potatoes are to die, and I don’t even like potatoes usually. Their stuffed peppers with feta and dill are unique and delicious. Their cabbage slaw in a light vinaigrette is fresh and tasty. Their biscuit cake which is pictured is not too sweet, not too heavy and hard to stop eating. Don’t let the strip mall fool you. This place is worth the trip!!

I went there with impressing that I am visiting Croatian restaurant. Server Ludmila told me she doesn’t know , she think it’s Bulgarian place but maybe Macedonian .🤷‍♀️ I don’t know am I to spoiled but even in the Dennys , server bring you to the table but here , Ludmila said , you can sit where ever you want , you want there go there, or there , or maybe there , you can go wherever you want . I heard people around me were speaking Serbo - Croatian - Croatian- Bosnian language so I asked did they offered any bear from our country. She told me they have Sarajevsko i one more ( I forget name) and I told my hubby all happy , yea bear from Bosnia and she said NO, no , not from Bosnia , they are from Macedonia ! 😂 Food was okay. Chevapi were not great , to salty and lepina tasted just weird. Almost like stale oil or something I couldn’t exactly tell. We ate two peace of chevapi and I just took rest to go and put in the trash moment we came out of the restaurant. Lamb chops were teasty, not medium how we ordered but still delicious. Burek was actually surprisingly good. After seing how crunchy was looking , I was pleasantly impressed with great texture. Dessert was nothing but disappointment. We took Day and night and I just didn’t enjoy eating defrosted mushy stuff. On the end I just can say our anniversary dinner was not what I was hoping for💔

Have your ever tried Bulgarian food? We found a restaurant in Las Vegas, "BG Bistro", and it’s the ONLY Bulgarian restaurant on the west coast! Our party fell in love with everything: the menu, the staff, the ambiance and the drinks! We are now their latest “ambassadors” and will definitely be back. We got to meet and talk to co-owner Vladimira and had a very friendly Bulgarian server named Kristiana. We had that day's special: Lamb shank stewed for several hours with sautéed potatoes, carrots and a green Bulgarian vegetable - this was $20 and enough for two! We also enjoyed a cucumber, tomato, red onion, marinated red peppers and shredded Bulgarian Feta cheese “Shopska” salad along with an appetizer of breaded and pan-seared zucchini with a yogurt, dill and garlic sauce. Finished with their Bulgarian Tiramisu made with biscuits and a nice tasting of their imported Bulgarian spirit that’s a bit like grappa, “63 Special Select Grape Brandy”, with 40% ABV. Check out their website to see the menus, the different seating options in a huge space and more photos. Ten minutes from the strip at Tropicana and Jones. Go early if you want to order one of their daily specials - they sell out!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Authentic Romanian Experience Near the Vegas Strip!

I recently visited Top Bar Romanian Restaurant in Las Vegas and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. This hidden gem offers not only exceptional service and spotless cleanliness, but also a warm, welcoming atmosphere that truly reflects Romanian hospitality.

The owners and cook are Romanian, and their pride in preserving traditional flavors is evident in every dish. I enjoyed two of their signature items — the famous Ciorbă de Perișoare (Romanian meatball soup) and Mici cu brânză, both of which were absolutely delicious and authentic, prepared with care and bursting with flavor.

The staff was professional, attentive, and friendly, making the entire dining experience enjoyable and relaxing. The restaurant itself is kept immaculate, with a cozy and elegant setting that feels both modern and traditional.

Located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and close to the airport, Top Bar is convenient whether you’re a local or visiting. They’re open for dinner and feature live entertainment, live musicians and dance nights from Thursday through Saturday, which adds an energetic and authentic cultural touch to the evening.

If you’re looking for a genuine Romanian dining experience combined with great American options, outstanding service, and lively atmosphere — Top Bar Restaurant is a must-visit...
