Upon entering we were greeted with stellar customer service. The Owner actually. We were ushered to sit wherever we choose, so we opted for a table and chair arrangement towards the middle. We were given menus and asked if we had any questions. Everything was answered with ease.
We opted for the lamb saag, cheese naan, sausage mushroom naan, veggie korma, & dosa. Now I will admit I have been very slow on my Indian Food game. It may have been an intimidation I was experiencing as I have not ordered many culturally authentic foods of this genre before, so I would order what most people would. The marsalas and such. I had not a clue re: the flavors, textures, and the goodness that all came with this genre. I was truly missing out. However yes we were spoiled as the Owner guided us in the right direction for his suggestions. There are many other items that can be made as well, you just have to ask - The menu would be out the door if he included every single thing they could create.
Interior is huge. Several table and chair arrangements. Social distancing def practiced and observed. Everything is very clean.
Pricing is reflection of quality and presentation. And yes that presentation was on point. I am still in awe by the food we had the opportunity to enjoy. I truly love great food. Especially when it is accompanied by awesome customer service. You cant go wrong with that at all. I will def be back to enjoy some more of what is...
Read moreMy husband, Mike, friend, Joe, and I have had the pleasure of dining at Nutmeg a few times now and have to say it is the BEST INDIAN restaurant in Vegas!!!!
We love spicy food and have fallen in love with their delicious butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. You can enjoy different levels of spice. My husband goes for level 10 on his butter chicken and I go level 8 and they are both so incredibly good. What makes these dishes amazing is the sauce, OMG the sauce!!!! We can literally just eat the sauce with some tasty garlic or cheese naan and wow you have a meal to die for!!!
What makes Nutmeg unique though are the owners!!!! We've had the pleasure of meeting Melissa and she's just such a kind person and super thoughtful. She now knows us by name and it always gives us such a pleasure to be there when we visit.
This is a FAMILY OWNED restaurant and highly recommend them for your next Indian cuisine experience. Let's support small business and show them a lot of love, they deserve it!!!!!!!!
Once you eat at Nutmeg, you won't return to any other restaurant for Indian food, we are now their loyal customers :)
Our server, Bevan was the best and learned today, he can sing 🎤 making our experience even better 🥰 he recommended a cocktail that I loved called Jungle Juice which I...
Read moreI understand that most businesses have been experiencing hardships navigating through the pandemic and that business owners had to be creative not only to meet the demands of their business but also to meet the expectations of their customers. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met today considering all the hype that supposed owner, Nelroy Rebello, gave us before he took our orders. The Singapore Ribs were dry, it had a very chewy texture worse than beef jerky, the chicken in the Chicken Tikka Wrap was very dry and the leafy greens were wilted, the Grilled Pompano was charred and the salad that came with it were also wilted, and most importantly, the basmati rice was also dry and stale. Seems like everything was cooked a day or days ago and was just reheated. I do feel bad for leaving this review but I do feel we were done dirty being served food with such bad quality by the owner himself. What happened to ensuring quality? Sorry but I don't see any justification to charging me the full amount of what we ordered considering how bad the quality of the dishes you served us. You are the owner and should have made the call not to serve those dishes and charge us for it. I hope things get better for your restaurant but expect that you just lost a customer from this...
