(Delivery) I know this is a dive, a nice place to visit and have hot pizza out of the oven with friends in a no-frills environment. I've been told by many that the pizza is mind blowing, and my supporters footed the bill for me to give it a try.
Having worked in pizza for 4 years, I had extremely high hopes. My big selling points are fresh dough, good bake, and ratio of topping, sauce, cheese, and crust: get those right, you win my heart.
I'm not sure what happened, if they're swamped lately and scrambling, if someone really messed up the recipe, but the "back home" pizza I ordered, though it arrived hot and melty, was one of if not the worst pizzas I've ever eaten.
For $33, all told, I was HURT. The pizza was doughy in the very center and the outside slices were fairly tough. The pepperoni and sausage themselves were okay, but left the mozz clumpy and greasy during the bake. Many complained of their pizza being burned, and while mine was charred on one edge, it wasn't burned, at least.
For some reason that pizza had a THICK (nearly 3/4 of an inch), dense crust with a chalky quality to it that makes me think unfiltered (or old filter?) Vegas tap water was used - those minerals can be very harsh. The toppings were not good enough to make up for the clumpy cheese and tough/doughy crust.
Listen, I LOVE food and I adore pizza. I'm newer to Vegas and don't have a new "favorite" pizza spot. My high hopes rocketed straight into the ground when I didn't even want to finish the pizza. My friends felt so bad for me, they sent me $30 since Postmates didn't refund the order.
This might be a WONDERFUL place to visit, but my first pizza from Naked City was a ROUGH experience and the price is just too high for me to give it another shot without a coupon. Hope your luck...

Read moreCompletely unprofessional! Absolutely horrible phone service! Even with their pizza being as good as it is the customer service I received when calling in trying to place an order for pick up was absolutely horrendous not only was I not placed on actual hold the entire time I could here them joking around and talking while helping customer after customer while I still had not been helped. After being on hold for 20min I sent my someone to physically go there to place the order while I still remained on hold just to see if they would ever remember to come back to the phone before my boyfriend got to the physical location to place our order sadly to say the did not. I was still on the phone when I heard my boyfriend who was now at the location placing the order. Needless to say I will be calling their corporate office to make a formal complaint. As of right now I have been on "hold" for an hour and ten min. Also half our fries were way over done n hard as rock as shown in...
