My friend, who uses an electronic wheel that functions similarly to a motorcycle, was refused service at the drive-thru of this Taco Bell location. He frequently stops by after work at midnight to order food, and there has never been an issue in the past. On this occasion, however, he was made to wait at the intercom for 10 minutes despite there being no other customers in line.
After receiving no response, he proceeded to the drive-thru window, where an employee angrily told him "No" and shooed him away without explanation. When he asked for clarification, the employee ignored him and walked away. Shortly after, another employee came to the window and asked what the issue was. My friend explained that he was simply trying to place an order as usual. In response, this employee rudely stated, "Well, there is a problem today—you should be in a car," before slamming the window shut and walking away.
This level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is unacceptable. If the restaurant policy prohibits serving individuals not in a car, it should have been communicated courteously. Instead, the overnight staff displayed a complete lack of customer service and professionalism. At the time (approximately 1 a.m.), the restaurant was empty outside, and my friend’s request could have been handled much more respectfully.
I will be contacting Taco Bell corporate to file a formal complaint regarding this incident and the conduct of the staff at this location. This behavior is disappointing and unacceptable.
EDIT: I complained to the corporate and they sent me coupons as an apology for a free a la carte item up to 10$! I went to use the coupon and the staff refused to take them... saying that it only applies for 3$ taco..when i pointed out that it doesn't specify that in a fine print, they refused to acknowledge it and take it 😂 What a joke. Read moreIt was 10:40pm Upon driving up to the drive thru me and my sister see a whole bunch RATS 🐀 Yes you read that right RATS!! they were popping in and out of the bushes and were jumping all over the drive thru sign! The guy finally gets on the intercom and tells me to let him know when I'm ready to order, I said "ok I'm ready" and then no response. I said hello? He responds with attitude "I'm waiting on you so tell me what you want" my response was "First of all you told me to let you know when I was ready then when I did you didn't say anything, Also you have Rats all over your sign and outside your backdoor" He said "That's nothing to worry about you should be happy their on the outside"
After I pull up to the window they start joking about having new meat for their burritos after catching the rats outside like are youkidding me??!! His name was Adolfo T, He had a strong accent.
After I got home I start eating my burrito and my daughter who is 5years old stops eating and asked me why her food was "Stretchy" I thought she was talking about the cheese until she shows me this long white thing which I thought was a worm....It ended up being a long white rubber band in her burrito!! The young rude girl who said her name was Marie-( no name badge,) I’m sure because she is RUDE AND DIS-respectful to all customers! However there is some LOUD NOISE, by the intercom at drive thru, very hard to hear anyone, let alone an employee who has a squeaky little voice, she could not explain to me what a mid-night freeze was??
