Thai Express — Restaurant in Spring Valley

If you are looking for some Asian food that is made quickly and is tasty, then this is a good place to go to. I know due to COVID, the prices on everything went up. I gave this place 4 stars because I think they need to go down at least $1-2 for the amount they give. I ordered the basil fried rice with beef medium spicy, and it was pretty good. I also ordered the basil fried rice with chicken, no spice for my pick 6 year old. He actually ate and liked it. My 9 year old got the orange chicken, and I ate some of his chicken to taste it. It was really good. The employees were very nice and helpful since it was my first time there. My husband tried their food for lunch and liked the spicy stir fry, which is what he got again. I was craving fried rice, and I wanted to try a new place. They did not disappoint with flavor and service. I wish they either went down in price or gave more food. This place isn't very good and it's definitely not authentic. I didn't know it's a drive-thru thai restaurant so that was a red flag. When I walked in I noticed all the workers are Indian which is another red flag but . The portions were incredibly small on the yellow curry and pad see ew as well as the laughably small thai tea so by the time I picked up my food I knew I was in trouble. The price is on par with any of the authentic thai places in the area which is sad because maybe I could cut some slack if it was some grab and go thai food in a pinch type place.

Lastly, the food was not good. The curry is very very small with a shared bowl of rice and curry (very little curry at that) and the potatoes were undercooked and there was maybe 4 pieces of beef total. The pad see ew was a bit better and the tiny thai tea was way too sweet. If you want quality just skip this and go to Archis and of you want a much better value right across the street go to thai style...

Would've given a positive review BUT saw a women maybe of Hispanic decent come inside of the restaurant on her phone by the register(super unprofessional) put her phone away THEN comes over to what looked like lettuce picks it up and theoqs it in a wok after talking to the guy that was helping me with my order and NOT WASH HER HANDS!.I do not eat out usually for this very reason!Nice atmosphere and very clean BUT this is not acceptable in ANY eating establishment!I informed the patrons that ordered before me about what had happened because no one deserves that when they eat out and are PAYING for quality services!Will probably never be back because my very spicy order was not spicy at all!VERY SMALL PORTIONS The price points here will make anyone believe that they should expect nothing but quality in their food!I am a survivor of a very nasty food borne illness that I contracted right her at home in Las Vegas and will not let anyone else become a victim on my...
