Iâm never one to leave a bad review, I hate being perceived as a âKaren,â but my experience today left me no choice. I placed an online order through the Wendyâs app, that offered free delivery. I also had an offer for a family combo deal for $15. My scheduled delivery time was for 4:07pm. Twenty minutes after that scheduled time, and no delivery yet, I figured Iâd call the store to see any update. I was never able to get through. I either got a busy tone, or it rang until I eventually got a dead tone. I tried calling and texting the driver that the app had assigned for my order, and I got a response that the number could not be used anymore. There was no way for me to cancel my order through the app, so I figured Iâd take the drive to pick up my own order. When I get there, I find out their dining room is closed, so I go through the drive-thru. Once there, I get told they do not have any mobile orders. I tell them I have my confirmation, I have my mobile order literally in the app. I get told Iâd have to place another order completely. I asked him if he knew how Iâd be able to get a refund for my first order that was paid for. He said Iâd have to contact customer service. So I proceed to ask if they would still he able to honor the family combo deal. I get told that thatâs only a mobile order exclusive. I tell him that itâs no longer available since it was used for my first order, and he said that there was no way. It was extremely disappointing and frankly aggravating that I was inconvenienced by having to drive to the location after placing a delivery order, only to be told my order âwasnât received,â and there was no way of them to work with me. All that could have been avoided if they would have picked up the phone when I called. I normally love coming to this location, but now I wonât be. Definitely 1/5 stars for the experience, and 0/5 stars...
Read moreOne of the off duty employees was waiting and line and had a guilty look on his face the minute I walked in. How do I know? Because he told me when I went back to ask why they shorted me, not once, but twice. I hope you guys realize there were other people in the lobby who were also paying attention, and I could tell by his facial expression that he knew something was up, as well. My suspicions are that they are giving free food to off duty employees. I know it's supposed to be weighed, but what's stopping them from taking food out after they weigh it? I hope the owner has a camera and is watching because this would explain why every other time I go in here, I feel the workers are up to something. The kid tried to tell me there's not enough workers?? There were too many. I counted 6, at least. There were only 4 people in the lobby. If 6 of them can't handle 4 guests, then maybe they need different workers?? The manager first apologized and told me the girl was new. Then she tried to switch it up and tell me I wasn't shorted? Like what? Even though I caught them the first time while going through the drive thru?? But, I had to come back in again!! I would have been happy that they fixed it even though it happened twice, but at the last minute, she tried to act like I was lying. That was the wrong move. Reading other reviews, I'm not the only one who knows they were shorted. Crazy because I know they have to weigh the food to make sure it's all there. Obviously, this isn't the genius idea they think it is because I saw the same thing happening in California. Hey, if you guys wanna dip into the companies supply, that's on you, but don't short customers. Find another way. I also found it interesting they thought it was a door dash order as if that made a...
Read moreOn April 25th, my family and I went to this location to get dinner; we waited in the drive-thru for close to twenty minutes with one car in front of us. We ordered a meal, two Frosties, and a kids hamburger meal, price came out to be around ~$21. At the window, the worker reiterated the total, charged our card, and then we spent an extra ten minutes waiting. Another guy basically pushed the food into our hands, closed the window, and we had to wait further to tell them we had "drinks" (Frosties).
Days later, we check the receipt, and we'd been charged $36 for a $21 order. We went in today (April 29th), and after waiting again for nearly twenty minutes, were told "we can't refund you", offered us food we don't want or need, and essentially wrung her hands about the whole ordeal and said that there's nothing she can do.
Beware this location; very clearly they don't train staff, aren't willing to take responsibility for their screw-ups, and are not worth the asinine prices they charge for lackluster food and experiences. We won't be coming back to this or any location after...
