Worst restaurant experience I have had in years. The hostess was rude to my wife when we arrived to start. Then they seated two tables ahead of us that were the same number of people. There is nowhere to wait in the front of the restaurant unless you go to the bar in the back of the restaurant. Our waitress was inept, and took our order wrong. She had to bring another server over to help her with the menu. She also did not refill our drinks until we were getting the check. The food was not that great either. We ordered crab puffs to start, and they were very large with almost no crab meat in them. We noticed that other people in the restaurant who ordered them were not eating them either. I ordered a specialty roll, and a philly roll. My wife ordered a philly roll, and a crunch roll. The specialty roll was decent, but the philly rolls and crunch rolls were pathetic. The philly rolls were also warm, I'm not an expert but I don't think that is normal. When the waitress finally came back to our table we asked for the check and said we were ready to go. She brought us togo plates and no check. We had to wait for her to come back another time to get our check so we could leave. I would rather eat sushi from Kroger...

Another great experience. Sushi / sashimi is so fresh. Staff is great, food is amazing! Went here on a date and we both loved it so much we will probably make it our go-to place. We usually spend $100-$300

Update 12/11/22 Soooo sushi, def 5 stars. But for Chinese... 2 stars. It lacks flavor :( tonight I ordered chicken lo main(needed salt and the chicken tasted SUPER old, like this is the chicken from 4-5 days ago :( main reason why i gave it 2 stars which averaged to 3 with the sushi revirw), chicken curry (asked for spicy, was mega bland and flavorles, most veggies were super raw) , pork fried rice (was ok but needed so much salt), orange chicken was the only good dish, I also ordered a dish that had half stir fried shrimp half general tso chicken, those were ok but again needed flavor and salt.

Overall, very disappointed. Will not be ordering Chinese from here anymore. We spent...

I loved Akashi. The sushi is always divine, the service is out of this world and the restaurant is truly beautiful. I've gone a handful of times now and I have never been disappointed, not once. This is now my favorite place to get sushi. It's reasonably priced, it's great for a date night or just a place to grab lunch. I really cannot say enough things about it. I will say if you have sensory issues pay attention to what times they are busy because it can get very loud in there. Also, they have three tvs over the bar, I know a lot of people like that type of thing but it can be very over stimulating to those of us with sensory issues. Luckily, they do have some tables and booths far enough away and not facing the TV's so it's no problem. But overall I will say every experience I've had at Akashi has been a positive one and I cannot wait to...

Came here on a Saturday around 5 pm, the seating was quick and the service was fast, they had fresh ginger, wasabi, good soy sauce, sake, fresh fish/clean cuts, all the key points I look for in a good sushi restaurant and chef. They also had a Chinese food side of the menu but I got all Japanese food Update, came here Friday around 930pm, would not recommend, horrible presentation, cuts were bad, uneven, sticky table, servers rushed us out more or less, taking our plates without asking if we were done. When I commented to the server about the presentation, was told about 5min of excuses you would expect from a Taco Bell or McDonald's, complaining about hours and customers coming in late, and how they "don't care after a certain time". Definitely come lunch to dinner, they after dinner service is regrettable

This has been a go-to place for a couple years. The staff is always friendly, the food is always great, and it has a very chill atmosphere. I've had to start a note just to keep up with what I've tried as the menu is huge - you're sure to find something for everyone. I'm a yellow tail fan so I get a few orders of sashimi every time and there's never been an issue with freshness. If you aren't sure what to get, the staff will always help. I'm sure everyone is equally fantastic, but Josh, Lin, and Jay always take great care based on personal experience.

The place was packed. Our server was so busy she didn't have time to ask if we needed anything else before rushing off. The spicy edamame and orange chicken were delicious. I had the tempura seafood and vegetable meal. The seafood was very good but the dish only had 4 vegetables. 1 piece of broccoli, 1 onion ring, 1 of something that was maybe a sweet potato and maybe 1 slice of what was possibly a carrot. The seafood and vegetables are coated in a batter. I wanted a dish with more vegetables so I won't be getting it again.
