Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Texas

The concept of chain establishments is that you should be able to expect consistency. Thats a fail but this Shipley's is not. In fact its the gold standard of what i want and expect from a visit to Shirley's...fresh hot off the press donuts even at 11am, friendly professionals serving with a smile, and clean.

I just stopped by, and had not had a great start to my day but after experiencing such a pleasant team to getting in my trcuk and biting down on those delicious pillows of goodness...I'm still smiling :)!!!!

When the gentleman handed them to me, i was like oooh hot and fresh. They all smiled and i left with a huge smile on my face.

I have a Shipleys less than a mile from my house but the 10 mile drive to this one will be more than worth it. The people at the one by my house are often very unpleasant and you don't leave there with a smile.

Went in and they only had two different kinds of donuts. It wasn’t the ones I wanted but it was all they had so got them and kolaches. Went home and realized they didn’t even put the kolaches in the bag. Had to go all the way back waste gas to get them and then they had a whole new slew of donuts and had the ones I had originally wanted so asked to switch them out since it was the ones I wanted and the guy said no which I understand but definitely could have offered them since they forgot my stuff in the first place and I had to go all the way back. Also asked me for the receipt for the forgotten items and they also didn’t put that in the bag either 🤦🏻‍♀️ come here all the time it’s a shame to treat repeat...

I was so excited to have Shipley's by my house until I went there this morning. I order 2 sausage, cheese, and jalapeno kolaches and when I bit into one of them, I realized that I was chewing on something hard. When I spit it out into a nail, it looked like apart of a fingernail...I called the store 10 TIMES today to let them know, 8 this morning and 2 once I got home...only once did someone pick up the phone only to hold it without saying anything and hang up...This location does not deserve to be...
