Bundt Cake-A-Holic Inc. — Restaurant in Spring

I keep trying to get this concept at this location, but it was a miss for me. I tried them before when they were at Northwest Mall (remember that place), and the white Russian cake they made for my husband was pretty good. Years ago I met this lady who did a BOMB black Russian cake and fell in love. She since stopped the cake business & went on to other things, so I was on a mission to find a replacement. This was the closest I got. Any who, I tried some sample cakes which weren't bad, but the ones I took home were awful! It was like it was sugar overload, forcing one to believe it was actually good- when in reality it was not. To me, cakes should be subtle, not SCREAMING "like me" because it's soaked and covered in sugar. Something's still missing in the full balance of cake meets alcohol. We found this little pop up shop at almeda mall and I wish I would've kept walking. First off these are not fresh at all. Who knows how long these little cakes are sitting out there. The mall was getting ready to close and all the employee did was put these black tablecloths over all the little containers. So if anyone walks by after the employees are gone for the night they would be able to tamper with the product. We bought a total of 4 little bundt cakes and paid $34.64. A ridiculous amount of money for something that tastes disgusting and does not taste like alcohol at all. I honestly feel robbed and would 100% like my money back. We used bundt Cake-A-Holic to make small bundt cakes for our wedding reception. We picked them up from their shop and loved the atmosphere. They were a huge hit at our wedding! Everyone loved them and we ran out before I could even grab one that night (luckily I had already taste tested them all in advance 😏). We would definitely order again and recommend them to everyone! Great flavor, moist cake, yummy icing and the alcohol adds just enough little kick to make it fun!
