Food Town — Local services in Spring

It hurts how much I hate this particular Foodtown. Clean your produce section!!! There's always a foul smell when you walk in that they try covering with Clorox (my kids cover their noses every time) I don't wish they'd close down, I'd just wish it were cleaner. Then I'd feel more comfortable buying their "fresh" produce and meats(which always leak or are super frozen) Their employees, there's this one woman I forgot her name.. she speaks SO LOUD. She yells her sentences exposing how much you pay or how you pay or what you're buying, it's crazy. Others you'll find chit chatting which I don't mind.. unless Im in a rush. REPLACE the carts! Every cart you get 97% of the time you're gonna get one thats super dirty or the one with a broken wheel(we all know how irritating that is) My husband worked in retail, so it's pretty bad under great manager standards. Imagine your numbers go up if you cared about the environment of your store for your customers. Yes it'll cost money to deep clean but you're in a great location, do it! Yeah, I hate this place. If I could give this store 0 stars I absolutely would. A few years ago a young boy worked here. I thought it was a positive thing, young man working staying out of trouble untill my mom reminded me of child labor laws. I don't know what store these people are talking about. But this store at 1402 Cypress Creek Pkwy/FM 1960 @ Ella is HORRID!! Bad area for one. K2 heads everywhere heavy homeless area so there's that. I have lived in this area for years. And let me tell you. This Food Town is NOT IT. Ratchet Ghetto and More Ratchet. Most importantly!! They have Bad meat, horrible produce, They don't have good inventory carry a lot of things other Food Towns may have. Cheap ain't always good because they're for certain horrible. I've lived near this store for years now and don't even step foot in it anymore. Lastly the staff. Morning time is usually the best time as far as good staff. The noon and evening staff. HORRID. Normally I go to Foodtown because of the good prices on their meat and their paper goods. This particular day I went in and body $400 money order and got $40 cash back. I got a few items from the store and my total came to $9.68. I handed the cashier one of the 20s did I receive when I got cash back and he handed me change back for a 10. When I call this attention to it she claimed I only gave him a $10 bill. I knew this was a lie because I only had two twenties in my purse. When we retrieve the receipt from his trash can he had only put $10 in for my payment. So quite naturally his register did not come up short. I don't know how he switched out my 20 for a $10 bill. His name was Troy and I can tell you right now Foodtown just lost the customer because I usually go there a minimum one to two times a week to pick up small grocery items. I don't appreciate being cheated by anyone and if I can help it any way possible I will not go back...
