R&B Tea ā A Cute Spot with Room to Grow
Iām always on the lookout for new tea spots, especially around Houston, so when I came across R&B Tea while visiting a friend, I decided to stop in and give it a try. The shop wasnāt busy at the time, and I figured, why not support a small business?
First impressionsāthe aesthetic is great! Itās a cute, well-decorated space with a relaxing atmosphere. Whether you want to unwind, work on a project, or just enjoy a quiet tea break, it definitely has potential as a go-to spot. Plus, they offer those little waffle bites, which I always love, so I was excited to try them.
Now, onto the experience. While the service was polite and efficient, I did find myself wishing for a bit more interaction. There wasnāt much engagement beyond a simple greeting, and since the shop wasnāt too busy, I would have loved a warmer, more welcoming vibe. That said, I completely understand that everyone has off days, and it wasnāt a bad experienceājust something that could make a good visit even better!
As for the tea itself, I tried the watermelon tea, which was refreshing and tasty! Iād definitely order it again. We also had the honey green tea, which was okay, but it didnāt stand out compared to other places Iāve tried.
Would I go back? At this moment, Iām not sure. While the tea was good, the overall experience didnāt quite leave a lasting impression. However, I do believe in giving places a second chance because we all have rough days, and maybe my next visit would be different. I might stop by again and hope for a little more warmth in the customer service because I truly think this place has the potential to be amazing.
Overall, a cute little tea shop with good drinks and a nice space to relax. Iād love to see how it grows!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst tried this place a couple of weeks before it formally opened. I live close by and I had previously visited a different R&B Tea located in Pearland.
The Honeydew Stormy is what originally had me hooked, but during each of my 6 visits to this location, I have tried a different drink each time and I've always enjoyed it.
They have a range of drinks, from coffee to fruit/tea slushes, but one of the biggest positives, for me, is that you can specify the sweetness level of your drink.
So if you're on the fence, give it a try. It's slightly cheaper than Starbucks and you get more for your money. If you love green, oolong, or black tea, this place is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am very picky and particular when it comes to Thai Tea. So I say this whole heartedly.
This is one of the best thai teas I've had in the Houston area.
Here's why. You get to taste the true falcor profile for Thai tea. Its not too sweet and its not diluted. It's just rightfully balance with sweetness, and bold flavor. Typically for most tea/boba places, their Thai Teas are too diluted with milk or water, and it loses it's unique flavor. In addition, some places make it so sweet that's hard to finish, even with the ice melted.
Kudos to R&B tea for making it right. Definitely my goto tea spot...
