Latest update.... sorry I went back.....I took 24 people to dinner four a Christmas company dinner. It took them 2 hours to start cooking for us. I believe they did it on purpose because we ordered many drinks ( which were terrible! Seriously need a bartender) and I ordered appetizers eventually because of the wait which I believed they used as an excuse to serve others Hibachi before my party. Honestly, I don't even want to easiest my time and continue. Under staffed, under trained, management running like a chicken with her head cut off, in circles, not listening to her people or customers. She was Very overwhelmed and undertrained as well. And the restaurant was given 36 hours notice of our party coming in at 5pm Sunday. Reservations!! 18 were seated by 6 and waited an additional 1.5 hours before cooking for us. They asked 3 times if I wanted to wait fot the other 6 during that time and I said no, chef can start with us first. The other 6 can serve when they get there. Again, did not listen! The only saving grace to this whole dinner where the restaurant is concerned is that 20 of my employees has never experienced the Chef cooking in front of them Hibachi style. The looks on their faces was worth everything! And the 2 young women that tries their best to serve us well while being shirt staffed which I completely blame on the owners. Most restaurants would have been happy to take care of a party that spent $2000. They didn't give 2 sh*ts!....oh and watch your gratuity they suggest the amount you should tip included with tax and food total, not just the food. A little trick to try and get more shared restaurant tips by the owner. So definately watch your auto gratuity amount on parties of 6 or more. And don't use their cheat sheet on the bill. Figure out your own on the food & drinks total. Dine at your own risk. REMEMBER, the Hibachi chefs are awesome, food was cooked perfectly. Franky was a great chef! Everything else just didn't live up to expectations at all. Stay away from the high priced terrible cocktails. I was a bartender in my past life for 20 years in Las Vegas! I think my opinion has merit. Lol. Merry Christmas to those who read....
Read moreIf you want half way decent Japanese food and to serve yourself. By all means, please come to this restaurant. I had to get up three times to order my own drinks from the bar and the waiter threw out a drink that I was in the middle of drinking. This place is far too overpriced for me to bus my own table, order my own food and drinks. I also noticed they sat a two top next to us and rather than sitting my party at this table she jamed my party in to a table that was already full. The floor that we also sat on was slippery and greasy, which tells me that they have an issue keeping things clean. Also, I ordered hibachi steak and chicken and both came with a teriyaki sauce that I had not requested. The fried rice was crunchy and the rice wasn't cooked. When I spoke to the manager she couldn't communicate the issues to me so she sent over someone to translate and justify why the servers were sitting down and not serving their patons. The server also added on a 25% gratuity on the bill for a three top. And failed to disclose that this extra charge would be included. I had to bring this to their attention and when I questioned the charge, they then removed this item. Overall this place is not worth your time. After working multiple years in the food service industry I know how things should operate and this place is completely unacceptable. If I could give stars i could give this place zero...

The menu boasts a delectable array of dishes, and the standout for me was the perfectly seasoned chicken – a true highlight. The infusion of spices adds a tantalizing twist to each bite, making it a memorable dining experience.
The drink selection at Shogun is equally impressive, offering a variety that complements the diverse menu. As a tourist, I appreciated the well-crafted options, enhancing my overall enjoyment of the meal.
The restaurant's spacious setting is ideal for large gatherings, but the high demand, especially on weekends, underscores the need to make reservations in advance. The ambiance is both soothing and romantic, creating an inviting atmosphere. It's no surprise that many patrons choose Shogun to celebrate special occasions, observed during my visit as families and friends gathered to mark memorable moments.
The sheer size of the restaurant provides a unique experience, catering to both children and adults. It's a place where families can come together, and adults can relish the novelty of their first visit. Shogun is undoubtedly a culinary gem, offering not just exceptional food but also an atmosphere that lingers in the memory, making it a must-visit for locals and...
