Read moreHave been here for lunch a few times in the past and have had a positive experience. Unfortunately after the service we received during dinner on 4/18, I will not be back. We were seated promptly and got our drinks quickly, but after that we never saw our waitress again until the very end. Another waitress brought my friend’s burger and said the kitchen was behind with all of the orders but the pizza I ordered was coming. I said no worries, thinking it’d be a couple minutes tops. Twenty minutes later I still haven’t gotten any food and my friend was already finished with his meal. No one checked on us or gave us an update, or gave him a refill of water during his meal. Our original waitress finally noticed something was off and she said they dropped the pizza on the floor and had to remake it. If that were the case I don’t understand why we weren’t informed by either waitress. There wasn’t even an apology. The waitress seemed annoyed that I didn’t want it anymore (considering we got no update and my friend was already finished eating his meal) and she offered to box it up because apparently it was finally ready. I tried it and it wasn’t even hot, which tells me it had to have been sitting at the pass for a while. We always try to support local spots, so it’s very disheartening to have received the service we did while watching everyone else get checked on regularly and get their food. Mistakes happen, but the fact that no one bothered to check on us or offer an apology is why we won’t be back. Diners deserve to feel like their business is appreciated, not an...
Read moreLove love outdoor patio. There was a beautiful Breeze blowing through the Friday we was there. We split a Reuben which was a little dry, and a cranberry pecan salad that was supposed to have a sweet vinaigrette. It was Italian no real sweetness could be distinguished and it just didn't work with a cranberry pecan and feta salad. I'm an ex restaurant professional and this vinaigrette was listed in two different ways in two different places on the menu and that's a No-No in the restaurant business. Consistency is King! I never would have ordered the salad had I seen that the dressing was. The other listening mentioned it was a sweet vinaigrette which would have been perfect. We got there early and we're the only table but within a half an hour there were 10 tables and one server. I understand staff shortages but certainly something could have been done to help the poor server out. Heather was there. Looked like she was doing book work but maybe she was working the kitchen I have no idea. In my humble opinion to justify the prices they charge you need to offer not only good food but outstanding service and a great environment. Two out of three doesn't cut it...
