Amigo's Mexican Restaurant is a great spot for authentic Mexican cuisine, especially if you're craving street tacos and a refreshing margarita. Here’s a review of their offerings:
Street Tacos: The street tacos at Amigo's are a must-try. They offer a variety of fillings including carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas. Each taco is served on a freshly made corn tortilla and topped with onions, cilantro, and a slice of lime. The meats are well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, providing a delicious and authentic taste.
Margaritas: The margaritas at Amigo's are another highlight. They have a wide selection including classic lime, strawberry, mango, and more exotic flavors like tamarind. The margaritas are well-balanced, not too sweet or too sour, making them the perfect accompaniment to the spicy tacos.
Ambiance and Service: The restaurant offers a vibrant and festive atmosphere that feels genuinely Mexican, complete with colorful decor and lively music. The service is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Overall, Amigo's Mexican Restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Mexican street food and excellent margaritas in a fun and welcoming...
Read more2nd experience : We went back this past Saturday and had the complete opposite experience we had the first time. Our server was not attentive at all. We waited about 40 mins. for our food and watched tables who ordered after us get their food first. At least 3 different tables. Finally my food came out and one other dish. Then we waited 10-15 mins for the rest of the food. They brought out a dish we didn’t order, so we sent it back. It was finally time to leave and I had to ask another server for our bill because I couldn’t find mine. Then when I get the bill we had been charged for the dish we didn’t order as well as drinks we never had. I found a manager and asked them to fix it and they did, but we were there way too long. Our server was horrible. He never came back to the table to say sorry or ask about what the issue. He also forgot quite a few things and we rarely saw him the couple hours we were there. We are bummed because we thought this was a great place originally, but now won’t be back.
First experience: Food was great! Love that they make their own tortillas in house! Service was exceptional as well. Our server was Domingo...

I ordered the fajita QUESADILLA. I was served fajitas. I did not say anything, thinking maybe it would be even better! When in Rome!
Steak/onion mix was extremely bland- no seasoning. For someone like myself who was craving something cheesy, there was NO cheese with the fajitas. The tastiest part was the refried beans that were probably oozing with lard.
Also, I had to ask for a plate to actually put my assembled fajitas onto, as there was no room to do so on the plate I was served. I ate one fajita and gave the rest to my husband. Maybe it'll make some mean huevos rancheros.
Suffice to say, this was my first and...
