There were 2 people working the counter when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon.
We ordered 2 drinks and one croissant. They let me know that the pour over would be 10 mins , which I expected, so no problem there. But I also thought my ham & cheese croissant would be ready by then too.
It wasn't. I kept checking back and 10 mins after the initial 10 mins, I said, "I didn't get my croissant." They she said, "Oh yeah, that's right!" (No apologies.) I took my seat and waited another 5 mins or so, went back to the counter and saw a croissant in a bag, but it was plain and cold, so I assumed it wasn't mine.
The lady at the counter said, "That is yours." 🤔 So apparently, a cold croissant stuffed with cold ham & cheese takes 25 mins to prepare.
Listen, it wasn't room temperature, it was from the refrigerator cold, a prepacked baked goods from some other place that they didn't even offer, "would you like it warm/toasted?"
I guess it's my fault for not asking, but when you wait for 25 mins, you begin to think, 'it must take time to assemble/cook, etc.'
No kindness, no thank yous, not even a smile, and most certainly, I felt like my order was an inconvenience. The dominant vibe in the cafe is, "If you won't go away, I guess we have no choice but to get you stuff so you'll have."
The one staff that took our order was as cold as the croissant they served. The other lady that was getting everything ready wasn't friendly, but she was no where near as cold and apathetic as the order taker.
The shop itself is nice, offering indoor and outdoor options, and it was reasonably priced. The coffee was good too!
But you can get that at any coffee shop. I will skip this place and try another unknown before...

Read moreI stopped in here on my way to an appointment. The parking lot was packed, so i took it as a good sign. The atmosphere entering the shop was awesome. it's a warm warehouse feel with darker tones and wood. There was plenty of indoor seating.
I think i went during a rush, 830-900am, as there was a queue to order and two baristas working, one on register and food, and the other was doing all the drinks. I ordered a ham and cheese crossiant and a black iced coffee. The crossiant was good, but it wasn't as much cheese as i like, and it was covered in poppy seeds - not sure why... the iced coffee took 10 minutes to get to the bar, i dont know why so long, other than only one barista working drinks; then another patron tried to take my drink.. the coffee was okay, not anything special, especially for the price and wait time.
Overall, it was a good store atmosphere with a good vibe , but i wasn't blown away by the food,...
