This was one of my top Chinese restaurants, until tonight that is. The food is always freshly cooked and portions were normally decent. But it's been a little while since I've been there. The food was hot but seems like they have cut down on portions I had ordered the Hawaiian chicken and there was hardly any vegetables with the chicken. Half way through the meal I chomped down on something hard that should not have been there. To my surprise a piece of plastic. Being on my lunch hour I decided not to complain, whats done is done at this point and just watched each bite I took. The service there is way below expectations as far as getting a drink refilled, and back to server on the plastic piece she nodded and said she would let them know. I hardly believe that since when I went to check out a different lady at the cash register ask how my meal was.i like to go to mom and pop places but when they dont really care about people they serve then I continue to some place different. Kid friendly would suggest someplace else as they do not have free refills on sodas. No wifi. funny fortune cookie after I had found...
Read moreWe used to love this place. Sadly the prices have gone up. Instead of getting a meal with an entrée and sides for dinner everything in now served separately on small platters and comes with a cup of rice, which doubles or triples the cost of your dinner if you want more than one dish to eat and gives you too much rice if you order more than one dish. The quality of the food and the flavors have gone down. We went there last night for my daughter's birthday because she has always loved their orange chicken and since we don't live in Springdale anymore but had to go there we though it would be a nice treat for her. The orange chicken didn't even taste like orange anything. She was very disappointed. The Mandarin Chicken looked like it was just steamed chicken covered in some gross brown sauce, served with Zucchini and some bits of carrot. It was not like any Mandarin chicken I have ever tasted. The serving size was huge, enough for nearly a week but pointless due to the poor flavor. I think we will stick with China Café in Rogers, Panda Express, or Stir Fry 88 in the...
Read moreArrived around 7:15 with two kids ready to eat after a long day of after school activities. Google advertises they’re open until 9 so we chose this restaurant. When we walked in the handwritten board says dining open until 8pm but the lady at the counter said dining room closed at 7:30 and that wasn’t enough time but we could get takeout. If you are in the restaurant business you should accept customers until closing time. If you your dining room closes at 7:30, you seat customers until 7:30. If you’re open until 9, you take orders until 8:59. I would be shocked if the business owner would willingly turn down a sale and future business over 15 minutes when they’re paying the same staff to work the counter and she could fully do so while serving one table. Will likely not go back despite the food...
