They have a sign outside of the restaurant that says, "best burgers in town" and by god, they really are.
I'll try to keep it simple. On the outside, this establishment looks like it's nothing special. Odd color scheme, in what seems to be a strange location, among other things. Walk inside, and you have a simple, quiet place. So please, don't walk in here expecting the Ritz. Expect something more akin to a small town diner.
The staff is 5/5 on point. Prompt, quick, and friendly. They're more than willing to explain whatever needs explaining, and they don't get irate when you ask a question, or ask for extra this or that.
The burgers have a very reasonable price, especially for what you're getting, in both the amount AND quality of the food. Just a couple of minutes after taking a seat, and the food is brought out to you at the table, piping hot, and ready to enter your mouth.
The smell of the burger is utterly outstanding. The delicious burger aroma fills your nostrils with joy, and you simply cannot wait to take a bite. The buns are toasted, so they're still hot when they get to your plate. In fact, every time I've ordered here, my burger is so hot that I need to hold it with napkins. For clarification, that's a plus, not a negative.
By default, the burgers come with mayo, pickles, onions, lettuce, and tomato. And the only complaint I have is that there isn't enough lettuce but that's just me. Every single bite is great. The burger is juicy and tender, and not overly greasy like other establishments. The onions are kind of sweet, like sweet vidalia onions. Pickles are crisp and fresh, and the tomato is wonderful.
The fries are hot and fresh too, and even after eating the burger, the fries are still hot, a few minutes later. Unlike other burger places like McDonald's, or similar, where the fries turn to cold garbage after just 60 seconds.
The eating area has something like 11 tables, and a TV on one end of the room. Each table has it's own set of napkins, ketchup, salt, and pepper. When it's busy, there can be a bit of noise from the various groups of people chatting, but the delicious burger grounds you in it's sweet, burger ecstasy.
I come here all the time, and I'm always completely satisfied with the food. They have never failed me, and I doubt they ever will. These burgers are the "best burgers in town" hands down.
Edit: I'd also like to add that their lamb is out of this world delicious. Unbelievably tender, this lamb blew my mind. Other establishments that serve lamb in the NWA area could learn a thing or two from the lamb here...
Read moreTried the new location out over this past weekend. Walked in & the owner was yelling at his employee all because she couldn’t hear him. Ordered, they brought it out. After eating & waiting for one of my littles to finish eating, we noticed the owner touching money & personal items while using the same gloves that he was cooking with. No gloves ever changed. They obviously don’t want bad reviews on Facebook as I posted on a post about how they were looking to hire employees. So I put my thoughts in. I was then blocked. We will be one less customer & sticking with Patrick’s. I won’t support a owner who can’t follow guidelines & definitely talk to his employees like...
Read moreI was extremely impressed. This was my first time in Westside burgers and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the hamburgers were great. I think I was most impressed with the fries. They use the fries with a coating on them and that helps them stay crispy. Most businesses that choose to do fresh fries never get them right. So I really enjoyed the fries West side uses not only because they stayed crispy but they were actually good. I would definitely return to Westside. This was my first time, and I like to do a follow-up to see if they are consistent. I will update the post when I...
