Me and my family used to come here ALL the time. Was once my absolute favorite restaurant and mostly due to just the rolls 😅. But that was when I was younger. Things have changed though obviously. Everyone and everywhere. Just not the same... Still a very nice restaurant and place to just chill and talk and eat. The waiters/waitresses do an amazing job in my opinion. Especially when it comes to dealing with people. I was there earlier today with my aunt and niece and it was a delightful experience for me personally. Just to be able to get out and do things like old times. I would like to compliment the waitress we had today although I didn't get her name. She did fantastic. My aunt is a little critical but it's just due to what she's used to and her expectations. She did admittedly give the waitress a bit of a hard time but I'm just proud of the way the woman handled the situation. Just "Yes ma'am" and "I'll make sure". Her patience and attitude were absolutely commendable. Give her a raise just for that 😅. The food wasn't even that bad at all. Usually isn't. And they're always willing to try and fix anything. It is what it is. I'm not picky like that. Plus I enjoy myself whenever I go. Decent spot if you ask me. Used to be packed actually. Not so much these days. Which isn't a bad thing. At least you'll have a table available most likely. Haven't seen it busy enough lately to where not. Things just aren't the same is all. Also... People need to do better overall... As far as the passion when it comes to cooking... So that there's no complaints about the food... And so the waitresses/waiters don't have to apologize for them when they have nothing to do with the food... Because I could simply say other people need to lower their standards or whatever but... Not really... I understand. You go to a restaurant to eat GOOD food. So it does kind of ruin the whole experience when you don't get any. Just my 2 cents on the food and any other reviews about it. It's completely...
Read moreVisited this location on Saturday night around 9 pm after our trip to the holiday lights at Sharon Woods park and the restaurant was over half empty. We were a party of 6 and had 2 small children with us that were really hungry. We were told that our wait was 5 to 10 minutes ( which did not make any sense), then after 20 minutes the host came and told us that it'd be longer because they were waiting a table to leave before we could be seated. There were many open tables with still dirty dishes on them and there were many servers just standing around. So we just decided to go somewhere else so that the kids didn't have to wait any longer. I decided to talk to the manager before we left. She said that they were closing off those areas because the servers tend to forget about those areas and that they didn't want to provide bad customer service. I told her that it didn't make any sense and that we were just going to go to a different restaurant. She did apologize but it was not sincere whatsoever and she did not care that she just lost our business. It was a Saturday night and they still had 2 hours before closing, so I don't understand why they had to close areas off that early... It had been at least 2 years since we had been to this location and this was a reminder to us of why we hadn't been back to this restaurant... They've always had bad customer service and nothing has changed. We will travel the extra miles to go to the Mason location just to get better service. I am truly...
Read moreAVOID THIS LOCATION! If you'd like to enjoy a meal, avoid this location. My family and I attempted to have a late lunch last Saturday afternoon and after waiting 30 minutes just for water, we left and went up the street to Blue Ash Chili, where we were seated and served our drinks in less than 5 minutes.
At this O'Charley's, they were unorganized and didn't seem to care they had customers. It wasn't busy for a Saturday afternoon, with only a few tables occupied. Our server took our drink order, disappeared, and didn't return. Two other servers talked together in a corner, ignoring the customers. After 30 minutes had passed, with no food, no updates on food, and no server, we decided to leave because, well, we were hungry.
We informed the bartender, who seemed the only person to actually be working and left. The bartender apologized and offered to box up our food... suddenly it was ready??... but after our experience, we were hungry and didn't feel like waiting any longer. We knew we'd be served quickly and the food would be excellent at Blue Ash Chili, and it was. If you want a fantastic meal, go there instead of this...
