This five star rating/correspondence is to acknowledge the Outstanding customer service my husband and I received at the Home Emporium located in Springdale, Ohio. The Manager Greg Leonart and his friendly staff took excellent care of us! Phil in the tile department was super nice and extremely helpful, he actually found a beautiful replacement of tile for us. As background: We purchased tile for a bathroom renovation, after the drywall, plumbing and electrical work was completed... we opened one of the previously purchased boxes of tile only to find the color and type were all wrong. Nothing matched the color palette in the design! I was sooo unhappy and disappointed. I decided to call the store, and to our surprise Michelle-cashier found a Manager, who listened then asked if I still had the receipt (we did) he allowed us the return. Thanks so much Greg! I found curtains marked 2pair for 5.99.. I needed another pack but it was marked at 9.88.
I took it to the cashier asked if she could get the manager to honor the 5.99 price for same curatin.
He was rude, he didnt address me, he just told her that the 5.99 pack was for a single curtain when the package clearly said 2 pack.. when I brought it to his attention he said.. well then its 9.88.
I asked the cashier to wait.. went back to curtain isle.. there was another 2pack for 5.99 Then I saw that same manager Nick with both hand full of curtains.. he was angry..
He was rude.. I will not shop here again..this is my neighborhood.. I will tell my neighbors and friend about his.
Was it because I am Black? Money is Green, my skin color shouldn't be why I was given horrible service.!
Or is it that he should be a manager with no customer service training..

Read moreI have had the worst experience purchasing cabinets for a kitchen remodel. I called before I went in to order and made an appointment, during this call I was reassured that it would only take 2-4 weeks to get my cabinets in. After waiting 4 weeks and not hearing anything about my order, I call to check on it. They aren't sure what happened to my order or when it will be arriving. Thier cabinet employee only would do something when I called in and asked for a manager. They finally got it all sorted out and I get my cabinets. 6 weeks after I ordered them, to get them home and discover one is missing. I have called twice and it's been 3 days and they don't know when I will get that cabinet. We can't finish the kitchen without it. All the employee in cabinets tells me on the phone is a bunch of excuses . Plus it is over a two hour drive for me to get to thier store, they expect me to drive back down there for thier mistake.
