Burger King — Restaurant in Springettsbury Township

We decided to eat a fast food, front seat, Ford, four door, Fusion. Frickacee. My personal favorite fast food Burger is the Geno Giant. Since that's not a option. I must order that old stand by. Whopper w. Cheese. My reliable date Miss Vanessa loves Burger Kings chicken bites. So we thought we would go to York County 's #1 Burger King. My Rose Burger King. Now I may need to have some fact checking done on this but I believe it was York's first built. Oldest Burger King. Built back around the mid 70's. When Mt. Rose was quickly developing. We Had Jay's, Wies Markets and K Mart. I vaguely remember Scott Steven's.? Wasn't that store next to Jay's?? Vanessa and I sat in the car eating and reminiscing. Telling stories we experienced about York County' s BUSIEST INTERSECTIONS. Remembering the Christmas trees we bought in the parking lot. Every Year. I noticed they moved the access way of Burger King approx. 25 to 40 yards East. I can't remember not seeing a vehicle exit route 83 and STING IT so to make the green light and get a head of speed fly up that Hill only to have a frustrated guy pull out and turn right directly in front of the path of Mr. 83 which coincidentally was his approx. Speed. To Smash rear end into the Guy who now was wearing his Whopper. How many accidents occured. We estimated two, three a month. Needless to say my Whopper was still as delishious as the very first one I had 48 years ago. Great Job. That's going to earn...

This burger king is convenient because it's close to my house and it's right next to five guys. I like to go to five guys and make my order for me and my husband, then go to burger king and order for my kids, then get back to five guys just as they finish my order. However this last 2 months this location has gone very downhill. One week I tried to do the five guys/bk thing, but when I went to bk they told me they were only taking cash. Bummer, but I understand technology fails sometimes. Had to go way out of my way to McDonald's and spend an extra $15 for the same amount of food, and my five guys was cold and gross. 2 weeks later I tried again. Their card system was STILL down. Once again I ended with cold five guys and spending more money on going way out to McDonald's. A month later, I tried again. The line wrapped so long around bk that I was almost blocking in the person picking up their food. I waited 20 minutes, and in that time I moved up 2 car spaces. One of those move ups was because someone in front of me left the line. The doors to go order inside were locked. At 20 minutes per customer, with how many cars in front of me, that's a 4 hour wait. Went back to five guys just in time for my food, but once again went all the way to McDonald's. Will be eating cold food and spent $22 instead of the $8 I would have spent on the same amount of food. Let’s start with the ordering process. It took a good minute and a half for anyone to acknowledge me at the drive thru speaker. Once I started giving my order I had to repeat almost every single thing I said. The kid was so distracted and you could tell. Once I finally got through my order and I pulled around to the window he was so ignorant, didn’t say one word to me other than “pull around to the front and I’ll bring it out”. I didn’t mind because usually that means fresh food. Ha! Fresh food? Where? Why did I even need to pull around when the nuggets were so old and hard that my dog ate half of one and wouldn’t eat anymore. Same with the chicken fries. Hard, old and just haphazardly thrown into my bag, didn’t even come in the box they’re supposed to. I am beyond pissed that this is what I got for $25. And no, I didn’t go back to complain because it was 95 degrees out and I wasn’t about to complain and have my new food messed with. The people who work there only care about getting their paycheck, nothing else. Horrible food, horrible attitudes, horrible everything. And no this isn’t a new thing at this location.
