I had just flew in from California and have never been to Charleys Philly cheesesteak. I am only here for one day in Ohio, and upon walking into the restaurant I was greeted and gladly so by the woman at the counter (Cassidy). As I begin to order and discuss with her the different possibilities. With my complex mentality and personality it is often not easy for service members to adequately manage my requests and questions.
As my business partner and I sat to eat, we discussed our experience. My business partner knows my complexities and that I do not do this often, and I nearly never go out of my way to leave a review neither bad or good even knowing that I usually am unhappy with the service I am given from many or near all the places that we visit around the country.
I had to say something. I reapproached the counter. The team had been discussing as they had already gathered behind the counter. I asked to interrupt and asked for a manager. I then learned that Cassidy who greeted me, and who took my order was the manager.
To her and in front of others I wanted to let her know that she had provided my business partner and I service that Iāve experienced near nowhere else whether quick meals or at luxury sit down restaurants.
She was very informative, helpful, polite, and professional. The food was great, but there are many other great places to get food. But when I return, itās because the service Cassidy provided this is where we will eat when I come to Ohio.
The example of culture that she sets and creates genuinely and truly made the experience in something I look forward to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy father and I decided to go here for lunch today. This was my 1st time here. The food was good. But the service was horrible. Front girl who took our order had a bad attitude. Got our order wrong. And argue with me. I clearly told her I wanted the #1 philly cheesesteak combo. She even asked me what size. My father ordered the same. It was about 20 bucks total. After checking out. She told us that they will call us when it's ready. Said ok. She walked away. We waited for her to give us our cups so we could go get our drink. My father and I looked at each other, then I said I guess they will put them on the tray. She kept staring at us as we waited by the counter. We just went and sat at a table. Another customer behind us ordered and the girl gave them their cups. So my father went up and had to ask for our cups. She had an attitude about it and then our order was up. Both philly's sandwiches and only 1 fry on the tray. I told her there should be 2 fries. She told me no. I'm like we both ordered combos. Gave us the fry but had an attitude and eating in the dining room was very uncomfortable. As all the employees stared at us the whole time and they have a loud speaker for the drive thru customers. So you can hear every word the customers said in the drive thru. Making it even more annoying. We even sat at furthest table away and still was loud. No wonder no one was inside eating here. I get it now. All in all, I may go there again to give them a 2nd chance but I will not dine in,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMe and my family went through the drive thru and had an absolute horrible experience. The workers were very rude and got our order wrong multiple times. At one point a male worker came up to the window and practically yelled that they would have it out to us and slammed the window in my mom's face. We then called and asked for a manager so we can get the phone number for the regional and district managers, the first employee (who originally took our order) answered and said she would not give us the numbers and how she didn't care about this job and that it was just a "side hustle" and then told us that we would come back after they closed and we could fight. In the end we got our order and it's still not right and the fries were so burnt we...
