In our search to replace our 12 year old mattress, we thought we should try the new Sleep Outfitter's store in Ontario. The store offers an excellent selection of mattresses & is very nice & clean! Bruce, the manager, was extremely knowledgeable, polite & patient. Bruce did not pressure us into a quick decision. With his help, we purchased the perfect bed for us!!

We thought we had purchased the perfect bed, which was a King size, Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Cassatt with a basic adjustable base. However, after only 3 nights, we noticed this very expensive mattress had started to sag & we experienced back, hip & shoulder pain. Bruce, the manager, assisted us with a replacement mattress. We decided on a King size Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Hybrid Pollock Ultra Plush. Unfortunately, there were multiple problems with the second delivery. The delivery driver was unprofessional, condescending & very rude. There was only 1 team member trying to remove the King size mattress from the truck. At that time, the mattress fell against the edge of the truck. Then the team proceeded to drop the mattress on the 2 concrete steps, on our front porch. In addition, the delivery team dropped the mattress on the adjustable base, while still covered in the ripped, dirty plastic. Upon removal of the plastic, we noticed two areas where the mattress was dirty & soiled. Also, the left side of the mattress was caved in & wavy. This entire experience has become a DISASTER!!!! In an attempt to arrange removal of the damaged merchandise along with a full refund, we had to FINALLY contact the Regional Manager. After months of online researching what type of mattress would best suit me best, I finally started visiting actual brick and mortar stores this past weekend. I’d made a list of stores nearest to me to see what options were actually out there and what they felt like; not what someone else said they felt like. The next store I visited was Sleep Outfitters and once you visit, you’ll find it’s quite clear you won’t need to go anywhere else! Instead of hoping the store associate will remember everything you said you’d like in a mattress as you go through their showroom, here you’ll find a simple but effective way to filter out what best for you . Before even looking at a single mattress, you get to sit down one on one and go through a short but detailed print out of what type of mattress you’ve had in the past and what you’re looking for now. I had the great pleasure of working with Dan C. He was incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful! Unlike some stores, I felt no pressure whatsoever and was thankful he was able to narrow down my options to 3-4 mattresses. After testing the different options (few times), I found the one for me. Anyone who has ever read my reviews will know, only five stars goes up. If you’ve got nothing nice to say, say it to someone who matters, not online. You never have a second chance to make first impressions. From the time my wife and I entered the store we could tell, this wasn’t a typical mattress store. The entry is set up in a welcoming, clean, professional manner and an air of sophistication not commonplace for a mattress seller. We were greeted with a smile and inquires were made about, firmness, sleep style and multiple questions to narrow our search and save us time. Several options were offered. One option was rather pricy and though we liked the mattress our sales person still showed us a less expensive option. Another uncommon practice. We went with the comparable less expensive model. We tried several different pillows and eventually received a BOGO on them. In addition we purchased some really comfortable sheets and were given a waterproof, stain proof mattress pad. Delivery came for free… THE NEXT DAY. No not six weeks later at $250, the very next day. After this experience, I have no doubt these guys will still be open when this mattress wears out, cause I will be back and recommend...
