Wow! If you are considering going to this place, then you should really reconsider. I don't even know how they could possibly have a 4.1 on google. I took my 14 yr old for his birthday today and WOW it was a complete joke. First we waited for over an hour, which honestly, who cares if it is worth the wait. Unfortunately, it definitely WAS NOT worth the wait. Before I start, I wanted to inform you that I made no complaints, I kept a smile on my face, despite the awful way we were treated. We were sat in a half booth half chair seating area even though I asked for all booth. Again, oh well if it would have been a good experience. We were at outback for 2 and a half hours after we sat down. The majority of the time was waiting for our food and this is after we waited an hour to be seated. When we were handed our appetizer, we didn't receive silverware or napkins for a good 25 mins. The plates we were given for the appetizer were all dirty, we didn't use them. They had what appeared to be hard water stains grease and some specks of unknown substance. We had been done with our appetizer for a good hour before we got our food. When our food was brought to us my sons steak was almost well done, despite ordering it medium rare and she waited till she brought his plate to tell us they were out of mashed potatoes, but he could have french fries?? Ok then lol. I had to flag down a waitress for another table to get a refill on my water. It was busy, but only seeing our waitress a total of 5 times in a 2 and a 1/2 period is a complete joke. I had asked if they did anything special for birthdays when we had first arrived and the waitress had informed us that they give the birthday guest a dessert on the house . At the end of our disaster birthday dinner(about 20 mins of actually eating), my son had decided he didn't want a dessert, but the waitress talked him into taking a piece of cheesecake home. This is "the icing on the cake", the sauce for the cheesecake was raspberry vinaigrette with a dash of lettuce. What a way to make a lil boys bday. I will NEVER eat there again. I really hope that this is just isolated to Mansfield for everyone's sake. Horrible service and the food isn't that great to begin with. Seriously consider going elsewhere. Not worth your time or money. There are to many great places to eat surrounding this joke of an establishment to settle. Don't settle for less people, take my advice. Don't regret it like I did. I attached pic of the lettuce in the bottom of the vinaigrette that was supposed to be raspberry sauce for my sons...
Read moreMy daughters and I had been shopping all day and wanted a fine dining experience . This may have been the worse experience of our life. The bread boy and the young man who filed our water glasses (finally after they sat emptied and we had to ask )were very nice and friendly . The manager with the colored hair also very friendly . However after waiting nearly an hour for our food , an appetizer (blooming onion) whose seasoning was still in powder form , .. yes our patience grew thin . The waitress would skip over our table after asking if the tables around us were fine. It was very frustrating . My salad never came out until I asked . Yes we did seem to be unhappy but when our main course came out , it was the last straw . The food was luke warm , the plates were hot , clearly it has been sitting for a bit . There was obvious cross contamination since my daughters Mac and cheese tasted like fish . My other daughter’s sour cream and butter for her baked potato melted and in the same tiny . bowl . The burger no fixings on it and the bun was hard. As I mentioned i / we expected fine dining. Our waitress would walk by and added the occasional eye roll. Very rude While it all seems petty The cost of this dinner is certainly not .
To make a long story short . A 2nd manager on duty approached our table shouting at us and waving her arms for being hard to please. I told her I would absolutely not pay for this and demanded it be sent back . She shouted at me and my daughters and kicked us out of the restaurant …. What the ??? It was quite the scene . She displayed very threatening behavior, which scared my 11 - year old daughter so much that she was shaking when we left . This manager is a loose cannon . A very poor example of leadership in customer service environment . I hope you do not have any future issues with her now that you have been warned about her behavior. That’s quite the risk . Needless to say I will not be back. This is the polar opposite of the Outback in Columbus which...
Read moreMy husband & I see Autumn H. EVERY WEEK (during & after the pandemic); & Autumn H. has always taken & prepared our order, as well as bringing it out to us curbside. She is the most friendly, hospitable & efficient worker out of your whole staff!!!😇 We've eaten in as well since the day the restaurant existed. We've seen alot of managers, waitresses, busers & bartenders, but this girl deserves to be either a Manager or OWNER!!!! At the very least a $10.00/hour increase - no kidding... No one else cares that perfection arrives to us in our car, as she does. Please give her that substantial raise OR AN INCREDIBLE BONUS. Anyone else preparing our order over there, has always been a nasty experience, w/nothing on our order being right. Not even checked to see that it was, as Autumn H. does. And in a time where young people don't want to work, or ONLY work for their check: this makes her phenomenal!!! And truly makes us feel loved, appreciated, & left us w/only asking for her on the phone to take our order. Please step up corporate or you'll be losing a JEWEL, & we know some employer out there will scoop her up & say, "their loss, our gain". Plus - you will lose loyal customers. She's a winner. Do something to show her how much you appreciate her; she has & always will deserve it. Never a bad day, always cheerful & super friendly!! Makes us wish she was our daughter, but she has always made us feel happy that we once again chose Outback. Just decided to let you know. Some people who deserve that extra perk, bonus or high paygrade or a kind notice of their work; usually get overlooked...Please do not overlook this one girl!!! She deserves it & we feel as if we're family. Thank you & God...
