Happy Garden — Restaurant in Springfield Township

I have ordered from here pretty much since they opened many years ago.

I am not sure what is happening, I went by Tuesday (4/30/19) at 6:30pm, and another night a couple weeks ago and all the lights were out. Last time I ordered about 2 months ago - there was a strong bleach smell (and the place didn't look clean). The portion size (both rice and chicken) was a lot smaller than it has been in the past, and the rice was real dry. Also the people were not as pleasant as in the past. Different...

The service is nice and friendly but the food isn't worth it at all. The food is cheaper compared to the surrounding areas, but it is on par. From my experience the fried dumplings were dreadful as they were covered in grease and the dough as extremely thick like eating bread, the General Tso chicken has a odd flavor almost like it's been a week old, the Fried rice was mush and overcook. First time ordering. Waited for over an hour for my food, and it was NOT delivered. I called the restaurant, and the woman stated (as she laughed) that the driver dropped my food. As she continued to laugh, she proceeded to tell me that I would have to wait an ADDITIONAL 40 minutes for a new order. I will not order from this incompetent...
