Oreland Inn — Restaurant in Springfield Township

This was my 1st time coming here. I've passed it many times over the years and have always talked about stopping in but never did until now. Nice place. I was quite pleased all around. The prices are very reasonable. I like the atmosphere. It's nice that it is smoke free inside. They have a nice selection of beers on tap. I had the chili which was excellent and the Boom Boom chicken sandwich. My wife had chicken tenders and fries. Great pub grub! It looks very well kept and clean both inside and out. I certainly plan to stop by again. It has a welcoming feeling and while there is plenty of muffled background noise, it is not a loud and rowdy place even though it was quite packed inside. Haven’t been to the Oreland in over a year. Most recent visit was an unplanned stop on the way home. Glad we went. The Oreland has an old time local / corner bar vibe. Welcoming patrons. Good music playing. Good service. Our bartender, Megan, was great. We split a cheesesteak hoagie and fries that were both very good. Drinks and food are reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back.

2023 Review Wanted to give the Oreland Inn a try. We sat at the bar. Interior is fairly large and open. The bar is long and the chairs are spaced out nicely. Bartender Roxanne was very nice. I live less than a block away from this bar and will admit that compared to most, it doesn't get too rowdy, at least outside where the customers with common sense go to smoke. It's a smokers friendly bar, which is the main reason I will never enter their doors and ironically, I'm a smoker!! At closing time, there's the usual annoyance of a few loud mouths and the language isn't exactly what I'd like my young children to overhear, but it could always be worse.
