DEFINITELY RETURNING!
First of all, the service from the men waitresses was PHENOMENAL! They listened attentively to all of our concerns and needs. Problems were solved immediately by the server that was ours and another male server that we stopped for questions.
The wait was long, about an hour, but we didn't mind. We were enjoying ourselves for Mother's Day and it turned out fantastic! The wait was also worth it as the food was delicious and fresh!
It can seem a bit expensive at first, but the amount of food for the price asked was worth it. I ordered a steamed fajita, I believe it was called. There was enough for me to fill my three fajitas and still have some to take home. It was really good and fulfilling.
We ordered Sangria's and they were extremely good. The amount of alcohol in the drink was perfect. There wasn't too much and it wasn't too little. The fruit provided on the Sangria's was also very fresh.
The restaurant was very clean and so was the ladies room. All of the waitresses and other employees wore face masks. There were dividers placed between each table. It was a really nice atmosphere.
Parking on the side of the venue is tighter than I prefer but there is parking behind the restaurant that's more spacious.
Lastly, I will recommend you double checking your vegetarian dishes. My sister ordered the number seven (I can't remember what the meal was called, just the number in the veggie area). It was made to perfection EXCEPT, half way through the meal, she chewed a piece of chicken. My sister is vegan and do not eat meat. When we told the male waiter of the issue, he immediately fixed the problem. Her meal was remade at no extra charge. She did however, have to pay for the original meal - which she didn't mind.
Still we had a good time and the waiter again was phenomenal. We tipped him really well. Looking forward to returning within...
Read moreLack luster customer service that operates from a place of Bias. Delicious food. I won't order food from here again...Long Post Alert. I would have shared this directly with Corporate, but I could not locate a Number or Email. Mi Cozumel, this location, Finneytown/Brentwood operates from a place of bias. On 3/13/22 roughly 411pm, a young guy light blue shirt looked past myself and a lady right behind me to first and only assist the 3 Caucasian ladies. One of the ladies said "she was first" (referring to me) and he ignored her and seated them and served them. He walked in circles with the busboy cart and refused to help me with my pick up order. He said something to what appeared to be the manager and then totally avoided the area. Another guy, older, striped shirt came in the area, I politely asked if I could get my pickup order. He said, "I cannot help you with that, someone's coming". After about 15mins, the front area had filled, a young lady came to the front, she then helped the Spanish speaking gentlemen, they exchanged a receipt. She then says to me, "Have you been put on the list?" I let her know I have a pick up order. Finally, I get my order, then leave. I know you may be thinking, Why didn't you just leave? I had already paid online and leaving would have led to me having to sort out other stuff with this establishment's people/employees. I don't know why the guy in the light blue shirt decided to help those 3 ladies instead of go by the order of the line. If he or anyone argues that BIAS wasn't a factor, they definitely cannot argue that His actions of not serving certain customers is not good for business. Yes the food is good maybe even great, but the service is subpar. I won't visit this location again and encourage you to go elsewhere. Or you too, will be at the end of unreasonable people who cannot operate outside of...
Read moreUpdate: After reading other reviews it definitely seems this location doesn't treat black customers with overall respect. We would do well do stop spending our hard earned cash in places that don't want our business. Imagine if we stuck together to agree not to eat here as much as they stick together to make sure our dining experience makes us sick, angry or disrespected. Enough is enough. Today Friday, November 3rd 2023. I got the Super Nachos to go. It was around noon. I got off work early and decided to treat myself. It's Friday and I'm feeling great ready to get my weekend started. I pay for my food and leave a tip because it was ready when I got there. I go home and began eating it and I get sick not more then 30 minutes after finishing my food. I don't know what was done to it. (That's my gut feeling guys, I don't like to accuse people but I felt my food was played with) I'm sick as a dog. My stomach feels like it's going 100 mph. I want to go to the ER but I don't trust my driving when I'm feeling this dizzy and sick. I think if I throw up enough it will go away later. I'm super mad and furious. I can't think of any other reason why I'm sitting at home waiting by my toilet to throw up again. I've ordered here before and never had this happen but today there was just something off with the employees as I got my meal. They all just gave me the vibe they knew my food had been tampered with. I didn't eat anything else before this, this was definitely the results of eating here at Mi Cozumel 100% I just want to warn people if you go to this particular establishment on Winton Rd be careful. If you feel something is not right, it probably isn't so go and save yourself the...
