Fantastic Wok — Restaurant in Springfield Township

In the Finneytown/Brentwood area, this has been one of my FAVORITE GO TO places for the past 15 years now! I have been a loyal customer since the location in the Brentwood Plaza. It is now across the street . Family owned and operated. Mom and dad are both fantastic chefs. Their children have been raised to help run the family business from very young ages. In fact, I watched the last two sons grow from boys to men. Everytime I go they always greet me with a smile and great customer service. Food is OUTTA HERE! FIRST CLASS TICKET TO FLAVOR TOWN! With every mouthful, you taste the pride that they take in the food that they prepare. I highly recommend the General Tso's chicken, the Orange chicken, the Chow Mein, Chop Suey, Shrimp egg rolls, Chicken/Shrimp fried rice and the Crab Ragoon. Well....visiting my brother while waiting to get safely (Covid 19 testing precaution) to my next destination. Got a hankering for a Pu Pu platter and decided this must be the place.

I ordered two Pu Pu platters and House Lo Mein and House Fried Rice.

My order taker was personable, efficient and very knowledgeable with excellent customer service skills.

Wait for the food was less than 15 minutes so that was a plus. Foot traffic for pick up was average for afternoon, so that was a good sign and the smell of my fresh cooked food was tantalizing.

Made it back to brothers house and the food exceeded my expectations. Very fresh and well made. I added no soy sauce, duck sauce or spicy mustard to my food. It was not needed. It was so tasty, I exceeded my greed. On top of that I am now most favored sister..

Every time I go here I try something different on the menu. Everything has been fantastic. Until today. I found the one thing I didnt like and wont order again. This is just me and my personal taste buds. This is a fantastic restaurant and I will be going back.

The chicken rice soup. This is the only dish on the entire menu that I couldn't eat. The broth tasted like flavored grease. The chicken was slimy and greasy as well.

Maybe it was the person cooking. Maybe this is how they like it. With everything else ive had that was incredible. Having one thing on the menu that wasnt good. Thats still a amazing feat for any restaurant. I will be a loyal customer. Just wont be...
