Placed an online order, General Manager asked if I would like ranch, I requested 6 ranch and 6 ketchup. She said she can only do 4 and the extras would be an extra charge (this is the first time I've ever heard of an abbys doing this and I've been to abbys as far as portland and as far south as Rogue River and have never had this happen. I asked her when this extra charge was taking place and she said quite rudely "It's always been that way" I told her that I've always been getting 6 without getting charged everytime I come here. She responded again with attitude about how it's always been that way for as long as she remembers and that it's policy. I responded back saying that the employees haven't been following that "policy" then and that it's not a me not wanting to pay issue and more of a training issue, this has just been my experience everytime I come. She said she would do it this one time but next time I'd have to pay (again with a tone). After I signed my receipt I said to her that it was probably her employees are just trying to make the customers happy and she responded "When you get pizza at little caesars you have to pay for sauce". I'm sorry but I would've thought that paying for a more premium product would allow me some "extra" ranch. I could go to little caesars and get twice the amount of food for less money but I don't. I told her that she should smile more and I left. I don't know why she felt the need to try to make it seem like it was my fault that this precedent was initiated before but it wasn't nice at all. I'm sorry but there won't be a next time at this Abbys as long as this GM is still there with her...
Read moreFirst time having Abby’s pizza , we decided to dine in, nice , clean restaurant. Went up to order , my husband and grabbed a memo to see what was offered . A grouchy lady behind the counter asked us to move as she could not take our order , even though it said ‘order here’ There was no one in the restaurant, I said sure no problem, we were just looking at the menu anyway . Another lady said she could help us, she told us about the special , which was the giant sized Poor Boy special , we decided okay sounds good , after waiting 30 minutes a young lady brought out our pizza , along with a plate of tomatoes ?! Uh what the heck are we supposed to do with a plate of ice cold tomatoes? Pizza had hardly no cheese , and we still couldn’t understand what to do with the cold , raw tomatoes? Really ? I’m still trying to figure how your suppose to balance tomatoes on a slice of pizza and it eat it , the fact the tomatoes are uncooked and the pizza is hot , but than you have these tomatoes , which are green on the inside, absolutely no taste at all . Not impressed and will not be back , a...
Read moreAbbys used to be my favorite pizza place, especially for their taco pizza. However, their recipe and ingredients have changed dramatically. I ordered a taco pizza, and it isn't the same. The meat is fakee, or at least tasted fake. Instead of hamburger crumbled on top, it is hamburger ball grossness. The serving of cheese was about 2 tablespoons worth that didn't cover my small pizza at all, the tomatoe slices were half rotten and grainy. The only topping that was normal was the giant serving of lettuce. There was one onion slice on the entire pizza. The sauce was thinly layered and dry. The crust was half burned and dry. The olive slices were about 8 in total. This depressed me because i treated myself to a $20 small pizza for graduation, and it was not my usual taco pizza. Frankly, it was gross. The service was great and fast, perhaps they had to change vendors due to inflation, but this was utterly ridiculous. I do not recommend Abbys to anyone unless you enjoy dry pizza with...
