Burrito Boy — Restaurant in Springfield

Love burrito boy but the last three times we have been there have been an awful experience. I have a dairy allergy and ordered hard shelled beef tacos with no cheese and they plastered them with cheese. I took them back in and when I got home they had replaced them with pork tacos. The next time I went in there were some issues with the order and when we got home my daughter and I each had one beef taco one pork taco after ordering only beef tacos.This was after I told them I had an allergy and told them no cheese on my tacos and I watched them brushing something off. I asked them if they were brushing off cheese because I had an allergy and she said yes and they had to remake the tacos. I thought everything would be fine, but that night I ended up throwing up and heaving most of the night. I am guessing that they really did remake the tacos and continued to brush the cheese off. I don’t know that for sure, but I have never gotten sick off their tacos before. Today when I got home I saw there was some white cheese all throughout my tacos. I went through them with a fine and tooth comb and got out everything I could. I ended up only eating one of my tacos because the rest had too much cheese on them to pick off. It’s hard having an allergy and trusting that a restaurant is going to make your food the correct way. I always try and let them know I have an allergy so you would think if they accidentally put cheese on something they would remake it and not try and brush it off and...

The food here is always good. What left me underwhelmed was the drive through experience this morning. The employee running the drive through put just 1 napkin in the bag. When I asked if I could get some extra napkins, the drive through employee walked away into another part of the restaurant. I waited for a minute, but the employee never came back. I honked my horn and the employee came back. I said, "Sorry. I was trying to ask if I could get some extra napkins." The employee angrily handed out a handful of extra napkins, and declared I SHOULD have said something sooner! So if you want good food served with a side of attitude, then by all means, patronize this place. As for me, Burrito Boy is not the only place in town to get a burrito. In fact, the burrito I got this morning, although good, was not as good as I can get elsewhere. I have been coming to this location for years and have always ordered the same thing. Today the new younger white girl working cussed me out because I didn't want her drink carrier (my car holds six drinks) I ordered three. She tried throwing the carrierier into my car still proceeding to cuss at me in front of my boyfriend and almost two year old. I was so disgusting by her lack of customer service I asked for a refund and a manager or owners number and she assured me I wouldn't be getting any of my three requests. I've been working in customer service for eleven years and have never once lost my cool, cussed at a customer, or attempted to throw anything at a customer.
