I believe that the Owner of this store does a very fair job of running it. I'm not sure if there are other employees, but from the experiences I have had here I can honestly say that this store has to be the best experience for TCG in the local area. Lots of other stores will sell new products at crazy amounts just because they have access to it. I think that this stores prices are very fair for new sets that come out as well as sets that have been released for up to a few months prior as well. One thing I will say is frustrating is seeing some of the older products that are still being sold for around what they were sold at when released will be priced much higher, however it's up to the buyer to do their research and find the best deal regardless, and the prices this store chooses to sell certain products at isn't going to stop me from coming back.
The only unfortunate circumstance I have had with this store so far was when I made a pre-order for the new Pokemon 151 Elite Trainer Boxes. I had pre-ordered 2 of them to be available for pickup on September 22nd 2023. I called a few days early as the owner suggested, but he let me know that all of those pre-orders were unfortunately delayed for a few days, but to still call back on the day of. I did, and they were still delayed, but I was told I would receive an email or call once they were in. I waited almost an entire month, and finally I called to see what was going on. My pre-order was marked fulfilled as soon as it was filed in the system by mistake, so the boxes that I was meant to get were sold under the impression that it was extra stock.
Although this situation was frustrating, the owner went leaps and bounds above and beyond to resolve the issue. He promptly informed me that he would have a shipment of a different box from the same set valued at the same price as my previous order, and that he would also include a few things as a bonus. He included the new box valued the same, 5 booster packs worth quite a bit on their own, and a puzzle exclusively sold to retail shops from distributors, all at least 150% more than what I initially payed for.

I had suspicions that my booster box MIGHT HAVE been resealed (I could only speculate so I don't genuinely know.) and the store owner not ONLY let me come back to trade it for the same booster box of my choice but went out of his way to help find the best sealed one out of the case.
LOTS of Yu-Gi-Oh! stuff here especially with how hard it is to come by now in Eug/Springfield AND lots of things I never see other TCG stores selling. This isn't even getting into great prices (for most things, while some items are marked a little odd, I think that all the prices are fair that I saw exempting a single set which is impressive for a local TCG shop!) most of the things you'd expect to see for 10 bucks come out to around 7ish and with packs, 4$ packs could be as low as ~2 ish dollars.
Plus since I went through all the trouble I was even given a small "thank you" which was totally unnecessary but much appreciated! I'll definitely be coming back and coming in Mondays for Yugioh events!
Morale of the story: get to know the manager a little and the store a bit BEFORE judging a book by it's cover. Read morePlaced an order through TCGplayer for a single card. After 10 days of the tracking information saying “shipping label created. USPS awaiting item” I decided to call the shop after they had ignored my inquiry through TCGplayer. The guy on the phone sounded shocked that I had called and ensured me he sent the card out and would be going to the post office the next morning to talk to the post master. He then ensured me he would be in touch with me next day. It has been OVER 48 hrs since that conversation and I have not heard from anyone and they have also stopped responding through TCGplayer. I know what happened though; dude hasn’t even shipped the card out. It’s still sitting there in their shop. Tracking easily tells you that so you lied to me about actually shipping it out. Judging by the responses by the owner in other poor reviews, they aren’t going to learn their lesson and are somehow going to try to make this my fault. Stop buying from them. PUT. THEM. OUT. OF. BUSINESS.
Response to owner’s response: What pictures are you referring to because I have not seen any pictures of orders being shipped? Maybe do what you say you are going to do which is to reach out to your customer when you say you will. Also, from reading your reviews on TCGplayer.com, it seems you not shipping orders out and lying to people about it seems to be the norm for you. You are correct though, I will never purchase from your business again and will make it my personal goal to ensure no one else does either....
