Do the staff actually talk to each other? Have they actually been trained how to run the counter? 4-5 different people talked to us throughout the experience and they each had different information, and would just look at each with confused looks before they would pull out whatever random piece of info they stated.
My mood when we left made me want to leave 1 star, but considering we didn't actually get to experience the place I'm trying to be fair. When we first arrived we were told a 1.5 hour wait to get a bay. We thought it was too long so we thought we'd just play mini golf and get some drinks (a nice touch to have this for the wait times) instead. While starting the mini golf we decided to go ahead and put our name on the wait list. As I gave the person behind the counter my name and phone number I saw that his screen said a 45 min wait. He said "It won't actually be that long. We've cleared everyone ahead of you. Probably 15-20 minutes." Okay, cool. After 45 minutes had passed we asked the front counter for an update and were told it would be another hour and 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. Hmm. Weird. So we gave it another 35 minutes of mini golf and decided to check in again. This time we were told "Well, another 30-40 minutes....maybe????". When I inquired about the woman standing next to me at the counter and overhearing she was ahead of us, and knowing she put her name in after us, I was told "Well, maybe another 15 minutes??" At this point, after having waited for almost the original 1.5 hours we were told and still hearing they didn't have a clue how long it might be we just decided to take our name off the list and leave.
Would've been nice to try. Not sure I'll give it another...
Read moreWe stopped in based on a referral for the hotel we were staying at. We had never heard anything about Big Shots. Upon entering, we soon discovered it was a golfing entertainment facility and restaurant. It must have been a great time because the place was empty.
Which confused me because a lot of employees were busy doing nothing, yet it took longer than usual for our waiter to come to greet our table upon sitting down. He came took our drink order, we waited, he delivered the drinks, we waited and put in our order, we waited for our food to be delivered to us.
I am so glad the food was delicious, because I probably would’ve lost my composure IF waiting on cold food to be delivered to our table.
We finished our food and our waiter who apparently was the only person working, (as else everyone else was standing around) came to inform us he was getting off work, so we decided to close out our ticket with him.
We received a free dessert coupon from the hotel where we were staying at, so we got the big slice of cake to go. Guess what, we waited for it come out.
I’m not sure if waiting is the norm, so bring your patience and don’t be in a hurry. The vibe is cool, the place is clean, the staff (our waiter)was a cool dude, but no one is in hurry to do anything.
I recommend you give it a try, if you want great tasting food. The onion rings were top notch in my opinion. My salad was good and fresh.

Was told we could use them and actually given some bonus $20 game play cards. Good deal EXCEPT when we called to book two bays, two hours and $200 food combo - we were told we needed to book online which finding out that there is no option to use multiple gift cards - called again. We were told to go ahead and book and when we arrive would then reimburse money from gift cards and vouchers. Long story short - DID NOT HONOR THEIR WORD. We had good fun, food was just okay, and our server was fantastic! Not her fault. Tried to push the use of gift cards and vouchers and even spoke to a manager who talked in excuse circles from a new system they are learning - to unable to make that decision, call Monday - to the issue would be addressed with staff to avoid future miscommunication - to calling out that we could be fabricating our story. He tried to convince us of the deal we received and since already paid online, couldn’t use gift cards BUT what a deal we got. We never questioned the price or the deal - we knew what we were getting - been here before. Just was trying to use gift cards and vouchers as were told.
