Burger King — Restaurant in Springfield

Fast service and the food is up to par for the chain especially considering it's relatively new as a location

Regardless of how you feel of the chain/location itself, on my last visit they had every single employee call excepting two call out/unavailable. The gentleman I assume was the manager (Not trying to support the patriarchy here, I literally saw no one else so I couldn't even assume it was anyone else :P) was handling everything I could see up front, so I assume the other was in the back handling the food.

Yet, somehow, their massive line of cars in the drive-through continued unabated and without much added delay (obviously a little but c'mon, two people). My food was handed to me almost immediately after paying even as he continued to take orders.

Everything was hot, well cooked, and accurate. The staff encountere were all friendly and especially considering the conditions.

Whoever was on staff Jan 21 2021 - BK Corporate/Franchise head, whoever runs this store, those two employees should be held up as examples. Exposed to dangerous viral situations daily, completely understaffed and under supported, yet still did their jobs with aplomb and smiles (One assumes, the masks made it difficult).

Ok I'm done. But A+ both of you and I hope someone who can properly reward you comes...

If I could give less than one star I would. I stopped in at the drive through with my sister. A young man cane on the intercom and asked if I could wait a minute. There was one car ahead of me anit was driving away, but I said sure. After about ten minutes I asked I'd I could order because we were in a hurry. There were no other cars on the lot. None. The young man very rudely told me I had to wait. I said I would appreciate it if I could go ahead and order as we were on our way someplace and needed to get going. He said Then go. I said you have to wait. This was several months ago but I left and never went back and neither has my sister. She has 6 grown kids and several grown grandkids. I have 5 and 4 grown grandkids. None of us will go there and have told all my friends. I do not give a restaurant my business and pay my money to be treated so rude. And I might still report it to the BBB. By the way, I called the manager and he treated me very rude and was disrespectful. He tried to tell me they were busy and when I told him they weren't he just the same as...

The food was fine but the service was the absolute worst. There was one car ahead of me and they sat in front on the speaker to order for an extended time. Finally they started to order. When they pulled forward, I pulled up. They immediately said they would be right with me. Not the case. It was 5 minutes before they took my order and I saw the other car leave. They already had their food and were leaving. They were treating the drive thru like the dine in ordering counter, taking care of one customer at a time! Then, when I did get to order, I had to repeat myself and correct her multiple times. They changed the screen so I could no longer see what she was entering for my order. The drinks were not marked so we had to guess and take a drink to figure them out (without straws by the way, we didn't get any). They did finally get the order right and the young man who took my money was very polite and pleasant. The place was very clean looking and convenient. I love the impossible whopper but for goodness sake do something about the gosh...
