Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Springfield

I live close by this location and have visited often in the last 4 years. Unfortunately in the last year the quality has gone down hill. I purposely have not purchased from this location for the last 4 months but decided to try and see if things had gotten better. Nope! They changed their burger about a year ago and I could taste the difference. The new burger is awful and frequently barely cooked. The onion rings have been over cooked each time I purchased in the last year and once they were even burnt. The employees need a refresher course on mixing the drinks. Every time I've purchased a cherry lime aid in the last year there is never a cherry in it and only sometimes a slice of lime. The pickles on the burgers are barely pickles. Where ever they purchase their pickles, has not allowed the pickles to cure long enough. You can tell from the taste and the lack of opacity. This has been the same for the last year. The tomatoes always taste over ripe. Other locations near by dont have these problems. I really think this location is trying to cut corners with the budget and it is noticable. On the good side the employees are quick and pleasant and the drive through wait...

We ordered two chocolate shakes, a root beer float and an Oreo chocolate shake tonight. The chocolate wasn't mixed all the way into the shakes, it was all on the sides of the cups. You couldn't see that it wasn't mixed until half of it was gone. The root beer "float" was 99% ice cream. I made the mistake of taking two drinks before I really stirred the float, I only stirred it because I couldn't get anything more through the straw. The root beer was gone. The Oreo choc shake had three Oreos in the bottom and ice cream on top, not mixed. We visited at 7:44 tonight. Last night, we ordered two deluxe chicken sandwiches, the tomatoes were super thin and fused to the bun, the chicken was dry and tasted old. The sandwiches tasted like someone else ordered them, decided against them, and they sat in the warmer for 30 mins. There were a couple smears that MAY have been mayo, otherwise nothing. I tried using my app to order but they didn't have all items from menu listed, which is annoying, and defeats being able to order quickly in app! Also, the guy who answered the speaker at the stall i was pulled in had no idea what simple manners were, when I said thank you to him for some help on ordering (bc the app wasn't able to fulfill my whole order due to menu items not listed)...he said nothing and actually made me feel as if I was bothering him...I had to hit speaker again bc they didn't bring me my sauce and when I asked him about bringing some, his reply was, "do what?" ....come on bud...just listen!!!! If you are working the intercom and someone chimes in on it, pay attention to what they are saying! Oh and for anyone who may not know this...let me help you.. if someone says "thank you"...an appropriate response back is typically...
