Overpriced food, staff have nasty attitude when you say so AND the Chinese food restaurant Great Wall has better food and allows you to customize your meal like a normal restaurant (they donât try to force a side or ingredient on you at all). Lady was demanding we order 4 items and a side dish for a total of nearly $100. We arenât even eating in so itâs not like we are taking a table or asking you to clean up after us. Lady that answered the phone had the audacity to say ânobody calls to order here and cancels;â well clearly they do because we did. We canceled after we were told an unacceptable total which was less than 5 minutes after ordering/prior to payment which means no food shouldâve been in preparation anyway. When we called back with the credit card ready the lady didnât want to verbally confirm what we ordered and just wanted our money real fast without saying the total. Good thing we asked because it was ridiculously expensive. Pro tip, American dollars are not yen! You have been around long enough to know that! We almost ordered there and so glad the lady hung up while we were debating because we ordered from Great Wall just down the street and man it was good!!!!! First time I ever finished an entire carton of egg fried riceâwhich is another thing, this lady didnât want to allow us to customize our order. Another tip for the owner: at most American restaurants you can substitute your side dish no issue. Great Wall has caught on and thatâs what we did, got our food for a better price, staff are 1000x better in customer service there too. The lady that answers the phone here for these people doesnât need to be talking to anyone with her nasty attitude and ugly personality. So glad we tried Great Wall, will be ordering there from now on. Better prices and better food, not even kidding or just saying. Youâll devour Great Wall! Like someone else said, the staff being nasty here wasnât an issue when their food was reasonably priced for the fast food that it is. Which brings us to our final tip for the owner: Chinese American food is more like fast food. Nobody is going to be full on rice so donât charge like youâre cooking a steak, mashed potatoes, and a side of greens. Your staff being horrendous wonât be as big of an issue if you fix...
Read moreI ordered food this afternoon about 2:00pm for takeout. I was aware that the lunch special ends at 3:00pm. As soon as I mentioned the lunch special, the woman taking my order changed her attitude from being nice to angry. She kept asking, if I knew where the restaurant was located. I have been going there for a long time, and my phone number is on file. When I arrived to pick up my food and free soda, she continued her angry attitude. I asked her if I did something wrong. I mentiond that as soon I asked about the lunch speacial, she became angry. She did not make any comment. I told her once again that I have been coming there for a long time and I mentioned the previous owners. She started screaming about not knowing the old owner and for me to leave. Since she took over this restaurant, I also noticed this woman handled money and then handled customer's food. She never washes her hands or wears gloves. The bathroom is very dirty also. I wish that I could give this place zero stars. My family and I will never go...
Read moreThe won ton soup was different. The dim sum was not as heavy as it usually is. But, the meat had little flavor. The cover on the crispy beef was open when the food arrived. Fortunately, it did not spill. I have never had any take out container arrive open before. Someone should have taken notice of the open container,. At least two if not three people handle the food before it goes into the bag. Doesnât anyone care about customer service? China Garden now has a Panda Express and a Wegmans across the street from them. They will lose customers to these places if they do not improve...
