I recently had the opportunity to try Crumbl cookies, and overall, I found them to be quite tasty. However, I'm not entirely convinced that they live up to all the hype surrounding them. Additionally, the price point of $4.50 per cookie seems rather steep, especially in today's economy where affordability is a concern for many.

The quality of the cookies at Crumbl is undeniably good. They are freshly baked with a soft and chewy texture that melts in your mouth. The cookies are good, but insomina cookies are just as good and a lot closer to the house. We went in to order and waited for over 15 mins while atleast 10 different employees continued to avoid eye contact with us or even speak to us… I finally yelled out, are we gonna be able to order or yall closing or what?! After a long pause, one guy in the back said, is no one working the counter?” The other 9 employees all responded “No”. The guy said I guess you can turn the register around and out in an order. I ordered a 4 pack since they had one of them marked as out of stock… as I see the “out of stock cookie” given to someone else, I asked about it… turns out it’s not out of stock… they finally allow me to add it and another to the order. I asked to upgrade my order to the 6 pack which would be much cheaper… but I was told “no not possible “ so instead I end up spending $12 extra dollars on 2 cookies bc the employees to lazy to keep the menu updated…. A 6 pack vs 4 pack is only like $4 dollars difference… the employees are lazy and rude, it’s all majorly over priced… save yourself the time and money and just go to insomnia… atleast they are friendly and theirs are always served warm and atleast half the price of this place… I’ve seen middle school kids with more organization and respect than we got at Crumbl…. We purchased six mini cookies the evening of 7/17. The flavors were creative, the presentation was beautiful, and the facility was clean and efficient. All in all, the experience would have been positive - except that these expensive cookies are served RAW.

Most were already iced, so I was unable to put them back into the oven at home to finish cooking them. The chocolate chip, for example, was nothing like the picture on their menu. It was a semi-baked and unappealing doughball, which I noticed the moment the box was shown to me. I made the mistake of walking out without addressing this, only to find that under the pretty frosting, all of the rest were the same barely-baked doughballs. These have potential, but definitely no crumbles here. If you're calling them COOKies, you should probably COOK them before serving...
