I am making this post on behalf of my best friend. First and foremost, I do not frequent this establishment (I’m 36 and haven’t dined here since I was a sophomore in high school). My best friend (we will refer to him as D) has enjoyed dining at this location over the last few years. He is an amateur writer and finds the atmosphere conducive to his avocation. D is also the quintessential Southern gentleman and has always treated the staff with the utmost kindness and respect. The reason I am making this post is that D had a horrible, unforeseen experience at this location last night. D had paid his tab and was making his way to the exit. On his way to the exit, he encountered a member of your staff (I believe her name is Jordan) and politely told her to have a good night. This Jordan character apparently had what one could describe as a mental meltdown and began shouting and berating my friend D for no rational reason(s). This unwarranted verbal assault towards my friend occurred while both were still inside the public front section of the restaurant. This incident has left my best friend visibly distraught and rattled. He is a very kind soul and did not deserve to be treated in this manner by your staff. I am not a medical professional, but I feel your staff member(Jordan) is in dire need of psychiatric treatment. I trust the manager of this establishment will take the proper measures to ensure this...
Read moreLOVE the smoked wings! We come here about twice a month. Very disappointed tonight, though. Our waitress spent more time being "busy" (the place was NOT crowded- only 5 tables with people) and never made it back to our table to offer another beer. We were here for 40 minutes and never got offered a second beer. That's a cardinal sin with me. To top it all off, I didn't even get all of my change back when I paid with cash. My change was $20.31. I got 2 fives and a ten. No silver. Not that I need my 31 cents, just that it was rude. To top it off, she gave me a ten and 2 fives. Very presumptuous that I would leave her a fiver. Well, not me...I tipped her, but not five bucks. I would have, but not after poor service and shorting me on the change. Oh yeah, if you are Hooters mgmt and you are reading this, please use this as a training opportunity. Our waitress was nice, but I have come to expect better service from this place and don't short me on my change, even if it is only 31 cents. I work as hard for my money as the next guy and I don't need presumptuous people assuming that I don't care about my change or assuming my tip amount. I will be back, but rest assured that I will not allow my wife and I to be treated...
Read more4/24/2021 - Me and a friend of mine just attempted to stop at Hooters in Springfield MO for lunch around 1:45pm. Initially when we came in the Hostess 'Sam' was present enough. We were told that it would be 15-20 minutes and we needed to wait outside due to COVID restrictions and theyt took our number. We watched to ensure it was correct. So we went out to wait. 22 minutes later after seeing another go group, who had gotten there AFTER we did, go in... we went to check. Sam attitude had totally changed. She had told us she'd tried to call us, however she quoted the wrong number. When corrected she said "oh yeah" that's the number I called. We replied that no we had not been called. She then said oh ummm I called and didn't get an answer. We said that no there was no answer because she didn't call us. She replied 'oh well' and turned with menus to seat us by the kitchen. When asked for a seat not by the kitchen she said no as the only other table was a dirty one. She then left us. Had been really looking forward to the settings but as she was so rude and we decided that it wasn't worth staying for the meal. We went to Bricktown Brewery a couple doors down and had WAY better service and...
