Finally got around to going to district square. This is such a great concept. Great atmosphere to go with it. I only have one gripe. As with all establishments, I have a tier system to my personal ratings and value is only second to customer service. This place falls flat on value. Not quality of food, not taste of food but value. From my experience as a foodie, we overpaid by at least 50 percent on all food and drinks as a whole. So if an item cost 15 dollars, I firmly believe it should have cost 10. The atmosphere was top notch. Plenty of outdoor seating, some in the sun and some in the shade. Cushioned couches and hard back chairs. Something for everyone. Lots of space for the kids to run around and work off their energy and they are dog friendly. You might be able to bring a lizard if you have one but I didnāt ask. They also have a lounge inside but we did not visit that portion today. I will go back and check that out at a later date but I most likely wonāt be eating there again. This is an electronic ordering establishment for the most part and youāll receive a text when your food is ready so be prepared for that. Super easy and simple menu from each place although they did seem to be out of a fair amount of options at each food counter. Great place to lounge around for a get together and grab a snack and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were so excited to come and check it out on our date night tonight. The atmosphere was amazing, instantly said it would be fun to bring our kids next time. We came for the funnel cakes for a sweet treat. We placed our order and could tell it was getting busier but nevertheless, figured maybe 10-15 min before it would be ready, we waited 35 minutes for it. She forgot to put it on whatever screen and it never even got made until my husband went back over to find out what was going on. We got it, it looked amazing! The problem was the cereal on the one we ordered was so stale you couldnāt even chew it. We ordered the galaxy dust so it was completely covered in said cereal. There was no time to wait for a remake or walk back over again to tell them it was stale. The funnel cake was hot and fresh, but the overall experience was not great. Stale food, an exceptionally long wait- only to realize we had been forgotten completely. We mentioned it to the gal at the front on our way out- theyād better check the cereal because ours was so stale- she said they could remake it- we let her know unfortunately we didnāt have time- we needed to go and had already waited 35 min prior to that. She was already over conversing with the staff at Melted, hopefully sparing any other patron from stale cereal or another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off, how cute is this place! The dinosaurs and decorations are awesome! I had a wildly different experience from what others have mentioned. I took my husband to try Rolling Alley for lunch today. The process was so simple. We walked up to an order screen, found the menu (with photos) and ordered. We also paid at the tablet and got both a text and a number. We looked around and then walked in.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a sweet young lady who gave us the rundown. While looking around the owner (I think) came over and welcomed us and let us know that he was around if we needed anything at all.
The place was impeccably clean. There was a pretty good-sized crowd forming. We waited maybe 15 mins and our food came out. I cannot speak on the prices because I donāt know their costs but I feel they are aligned with most food truck prices. Also cannot speak about the other restaurants as we only ordered from this one.
Rolling Alley, nailed it! We got the Bros-and-Bowls and a Scary Roller. They were both fantastic! Whatever you have seasoned your chicken with in the bowl might be my new favorite thing!!!! Please donāt change it. We brought home a few rolls, too. All in all, great service, great food and great...
