Udders, Ice Cream and Candy Shop — Restaurant in Springfield

We’re locals, for what it’s worth. On our first visit, we were greeted with a full list of items they didn’t have, including chocolate ice cream. No hello, how are you, welcome in. Nothing of that sort. The place was about 90 degrees on the inside. Waited exactly 1/2 hour for the smallest single scoops of ice cream I’ve ever seen. No thank you for coming in, sorry for the l the long wait. Nothing. And the wait wasn’t strictly due to the volume of people. It was due to them being understaffed on a Saturday. Go figure. A week later, we tried again. No greeting, just another list of things they didn’t have. Including chocolate ice cream, again. Still extremely hot in the building. You’d think maybe they would buy a couple fans. A week later, trying to give them the benefit of doubt, we entered the store and were told they were closed due to no AC. Really? There hasn’t been AC since they opened. Maybe grab a piece of paper and a pen and write a CLOSED sign so people don’t go through the hassle of parking, walking to the building in 90 degree heat, only to find out what could have been seen from the road. Sorry, but we won’t be back. The owners need a few pointers on customer service and basic business...

One word: AMAZING! As a self-proclaimed ice cream snob, never in my life have I had ice cream THIS GOOD. The soft serve is to die for - so smooth, creamy, full of the richest & sweetest flavors. Speaking of flavor, there’s so many custom flavors to choose from that they make on the spot which just takes the whole experience to the NEXT LEVEL. The atmosphere, the staff, the vibes… IMMACULATE.
