One day, I decided to venture into Freddy's for a change of pace. The experience left me with mixed feelings, to say the least. While the overall visit was enjoyable, there were a few spine-tingling moments that left me questioning my own sanity.
Upon stepping through the doors, I was immediately immersed in a world of whimsical animatronics and nostalgic arcade games. The ambiance had an undeniable charm, reminiscent of a bygone era. The aroma of freshly baked pizza wafted through the air, enticing my taste buds with promises of cheesy delight. I have to admit, the pizza itself was surprisingly tasty, with a satisfying blend of flavors that melted in my mouth.
However, as I settled into my booth, I couldn't help but notice odd occurrences happening around me. On several occasions, I could have sworn I heard faint laughter echoing through the air, laughter that didn't seem to align with the patrons' merriment. It was as if mischievous spirits were playing tricks on my senses, leaving me to question whether my ears were deceiving me or if something truly supernatural was afoot.
The animatronic characters, while initially charming, began to exhibit unusual behavior as the evening progressed. Their mechanical movements, usually smooth and precise, occasionally became jerky and erratic. It was as if they were alive, almost as if they were watching my every move. I couldn't shake off the feeling that their glassy eyes were peering into the depths of my soul, hiding secrets that were best left undiscovered.
The staff, while courteous and attentive, seemed to possess an air of unease. They moved about with an unusual urgency, their smiles occasionally faltering. It was as if they were aware of the strange happenings within the establishment, but were sworn to silence, guarding some unspeakable truth. Their hushed conversations and wary glances only served to deepen the mystery surrounding Freddy's.
Despite these eerie occurrences, I must admit that the overall experience was undeniably captivating. There was an undeniable allure to the unconventional nature of the pizzeria, a certain charm that drew me in and kept me on the edge of my seat. It's an experience that I won't soon forget, for better or for worse.
If you're the kind of adventurous soul who seeks out the peculiar and the mysterious, I recommend venturing into this enigmatic world of Freddy's. Just be prepared for an evening that will challenge your perceptions and leave you questioning the line between reality and the...

I’m still salty about this place.
Why am I salty about Freddy’s? It’s not that I had bad service or anything like that. It’s just all that I could taste when I ate my food. I wasn’t even sure if I was going to visit Freddy’s since it is more of a chain than a locally-owned place and the latter is more of my focus for my Travel List. It’s a small chain with rare locations for my area, so I figured “why not”.
Freddy’s was unique yet all-too-familiar upon entering. It’s your standard fast food eatery where you place your order at the counter and wait for it to be brought to your table or you pick it up at the counter. My girlfriend and I were rather hungry, so we ordered a lot of food. Something that can be a bit risky if it’s a new place that neither of you have been to. I ordered a burger, a hot dog and some fries. The fries are just like the ones you get at Steak N Shake. Actually, if you took S’n’S, made it red/white themed and made it more fast food orientated, you would have Freddy’s.
We wasted no time chowing down the food. I ate the hot dog first and it was okay. It was good but the flavor was a bit overpowered by the salt in the dog, bread, and toppings. Then I moved on to the burger (while munching on the fries in-between everything). The fries themselves, I hated. They were good on their own as most french fries are. Its just something about thin-cut fries that makes me angry. Drop some normal-sized fries or steakhouse fries in front of me and you have a happy blogger. But, that’s just a personal preference. Again, the fries themselves were fine despite their lack of size.
Where was I? Oh. The burger. The burger suffered the same fate as the hot dog. It was pure salt. It’s as if they took the salt they normally sprinkle on the fries and sprinkled it on the burger and dog instead. This lead to some mild discomfort after the meal, if you can imagine that. The bloat was real.
For it being a simple combo meal, it was alright when it came to the value. A simple burger, a hot dog, fries, and a drink should fill most everyone up. They have other combo meals should you not be a fan of hot dogs or burgers.
I would visit a Freddy’s again if I was with someone who had never been before. I’m always for second chances. I would make sure to get a water with my meal to help my body deal with the potential sodium overload that was being...
Read moreWe have been to this same location about 3 times now. I have never left a review because none of our experiences have been great, but I thought everyone has off days, and maybe we just visited on those days. But I have now decided that I think it's just the way the employees and the store are. I need to point out that we had the same cashier twice and a different cashier for one of our other visits. Both cashiers pretty much treated us the same. When the cashier walked up to take our order, she never said welcome. Can I take your order, NOTHING. She just glared at us. It was obvious she wasn't going to say anything so we just gave her our order. She finally spoke and told us how much we owed. That was the extent of her interaction with us. I realize that taking a customers order is all the interaction you usually expect, but when you are being looked at like you are bothering them and they don't speak at all and you have to guess if they are ready to take your order...I'm sorry but that is rude. The drink station and condiment area were very messy, all of the tables and floor were messy and sticky. The tables and floor are usually not very clean...sometimes worse than others. The food was hot and good. Only one time have we had cold fries. Usually the food is always hot and fresh. We really like the food and the location is convenient for us but we will not revisit this store because of the way the employees treat you. There's another location across town (not convenient since we live about 45 minutes from it) but we have visited it while shopping on that end of town. If we decide to eat at a Freddys in the future, it will be that store. It's always clean and the employees are awesome. Very professional...
