If I could give negative stars for service, I would. My husband and I went through the drive thru in Springfield, IL on Sangamon Avenue and asked for 2 loaded omelette biscuits and told the worker that we had a coupon for 2 for $4.99. She replied, “OK” and then paused. We waited for a few seconds to see if she was going to tell us a price, and then she said “Pull around”. When we got to the window, she said “$12 (and some cents)”. I started to open my mouth to say that that might not be our order, when she said, rather aggressively and angrily, “You have to present the coupon to get the discount!” I literally had the coupon in my hand about to hand it to her had she given me the chance! I gave her the coupon and she took it without saying anything and then told me the price. I gave her the money and she gave me change, went back and got the biscuits and shoved the bag at me without saying another word! Not even “Thank you”!! I literally left there shaking because I have no idea why I had just been treated that way. I was in no way, shape, or form unpleasant with her. The restaurant was not even busy, so I couldn’t even justify her being rattled because of having to deal with a lot of customers. I totally understand that people have bad days, but this customer service was so over the top bad that I am just at a loss for why someone would act that way. This was not a young person that was just learning customer service (or basic human interaction) either. There is a lot of competition out there for restaurants and many other restaurants are putting forth a lot of effort to teach their employees how to treat customers right so that they actually want to return to the restaurant. Read moreThe last two times I have gone to Hardee's, they've told me they were either out of biscuits or out of breakfast all together. I showed up about 30 minutes before the end of breakfast, so it's not like I came SUPER late. Today, I made a point to come an hour before breakfast ended. I was parked for a "3-minute biscuit wait." 30 minutes later I was still parked as cars went by. I don't know how the inside of Hardee's operates on the inside, but when I went inside to ask how long it would be, they said they still needed to make one of the items I ordered. I think my car and another may have been forgotten.
I have a receipt that says I can get a "free meal" to make up for this.

Read moreI'll like to proudly come out and say that Sangamon Hardee's food, cleanliness, and customer service is highly better than i anticipate from before. The food is always dropped fresh, the customer service is way above top tier smile, and laughter always makes someone day get positive, and let's not forget the cleanliness of the restaurant always keeping the lobby maintained and making sure everything is wiped down, swept up, and mopped. I recommend coming out with family/friends for a swell time at Hardee's definitely served proud. Will be coming back soon.
