I ordered off of DoorDash & when I recieved the food I noticed something did not smell right. It smelled like a burnt smell as if the grease must have been old or something. I didn’t eat any of the food from my order and I was refunded by DoorDash after sending them images of the food. The ribeye skewers looked like beef jerky and hard as a rock. The potatoe fries were burnt on the outside and hard/ undercooked on the inside. The Mac n cheese bites were burnt. There was also fries to my surprise in the box and they were soggy and didn’t look very good. After DoorDash refunded me the credits it gave me the option to order again. I figured I would try again and I ordered breaded chicken tenders this time because the reviews seemed good for the chicken. I also ordered green beans, & mashed potatoes and another cookie since I didn’t get it the first time. Upon receiving the food, I smelled the same odd smell again. When I opened the food the chicken looked horrible. I took one bite out of the cookie and it tasted like vegetable oil. The green beans and mashed potatoes had absolutely no flavor. Immediately after placing my second order I wrote to the door dasher to please check my food because my last order was not good. I then get a phone call, I answer it and it’s the COOK at main gate named BROCK. Upon the doordasher asking to see the food first he asks them to talk to me and calls me off of the door dashers phone. He then tells me that he made my last order and that im lying and that he is calling door dash on me and putting me on the “LIST” and then says “im the manager here and I made your last order and that food was perfect sooo…” actually it was trash. I took pictures of all of the food, the phone call, the door dasher saying the cook used her phone but I’m not being given the option to post images for some reason. I’d be happy to send these to the real owner / manager . Read moreFirst time ordering here, a few places we wanted were closed I’m guessing from low staffing issues. It was 6pm we ordered 3 horseshoes to go and our food was dry, chewy, and freezer burnt. We didn’t get our food till 7:30pm. 1)The fries were starchy and undercooked. 2) The cheese was literally nacho cheese sauce, That’s so nasty! 3)The chicken on two horseshoes were so chewy and dry with zero flavor, except the obvious freezer burn taste. The kids chicken horseshoe batter was still raw! 4)The pork on one shoe was dry and some bites were mushy. The lemonade we got was just awful I can’t even explain it..
Will never be ordering here again.
Edit: Yes owner the few places we tried to order from were closed, nothing fishy about it. Some places are low staffed cause of the pandemic. Owner says nothing is battered then please explain what the crust on my chicken was or the crust of the pork ? If it’s not frozen then why is it chewy, dry, and mushy? If it’s not nacho sauce why did it taste like straight nacho blanco sauce? The lemonade tasted like watered down lemon water.
If you are so angry about it and have to take it out on a customer and not your chiefs, don’t be in customer service. Read moreOrdered delivery through Door Dash. Food came quickly and was still pretty warm. Problem was I got mushrooms instead of the cauliflower I ordered. Gave them a call and talked to Mercedes. She looked up my order right away and offered to have an order brought to me, which I gladly accepted. She took my number and address and she'd get right on it.
An hour went by and I'll admit I was getting annoyed, when my phone rang. It was Mercedes apologizing, because they got slammed and could she add anything to my order of cauliflower for having to wait. I told her no thanks, I was good. She then told me about their cookies, so I said sure send me some cookies, the kids will love that!
The cook, Brian personally delivered my cauliflower and the cookies which were both amazing! The kids polished off their pizza, so it must have been good. My burger was soooo good, best burger I've had in a long time! Cheese curds and fried pickles were also delish!
If you've read this far, let me just say one last thing. The world right now is full of a lot of anger, hate, and impatience. I work in customer service and it's hard in the best of times. If something doesn't go right remember we are all no better than anyone else. People make mistakes. You can let a business know about a mistake with kindness and compassion and I can promise you it will get you a lot further than being rude or unkind. Be part of the solution not part of the problem!
