American Legion post 32 — Restaurant in Springfield

Went there tonight with my wife, brother in law and his wife and son. We ordered at sat for a total of 55 minutes and didn't get our food. We asked twice about the status of our food and was told it was coming up soon. People all around us were getting food and they were seated 30 minutes after us. We finally had enough when all people in the bar area were eating and we still had not been given our food. I saw our waitress speaking to the manager and telling him that we didn't get our food for 55 minutes. She pointed me out twice to the manager and he looked at me and walked into another room by the front door and said nothing to me. I paid the drink bill and left. Holy cow who knew! A northend secret to say the least the Legion Hall is a terrific place for lunch! Friday I had walleye and it was terriffic! Fresh made lemonade topped it off with refills to go! If you are out by the fairgrounds just look across the street and grab some great food. If it looks crowded in front walk through to the back the is another large seating area you can't see from the front.
