I had the gushers tea which was tasty but almost all ice! I also had the pumpkin banana bread protein drink which was okay but still had the protein powder taste. I am giving it two stars because if all The ice and the customer service from The manager. The blonde who helped me was nice. I was sad to see that nurses and ems get 20 percent off and students get 10 but I am a psychiatric technican which gets no discount. Most of the nurses I work with only have a two year degree and I am even certified and have my bachelor's. The blonde checked me out asked if I was a nurse and said no I am a psychiatric technician but she was still going to give me the discount. The lady with short brown hair that seemed to be the manager was sitting with two other customers educating them on nutrition, but even stopped their mini meeting to ask my cashier what job title I had! The blonde told her and she said "No only nurses get it." Then she went back to her meeting. I would have spoken up for myself but didn't want to be rude since she had already disrupted the small meeting once and I did not want to be unfair to the other customers because it seemed like it might be a nutrition meeting that they are paying for. They wished me to have a good evening but I felt a little hurt that every one else in hospitals gets a discount but me. It was not a very welcoming first experience. I am also a spokes person for a fitness center and work for a big hospital and am also going for my personal trainer certification so I would have been good advertisement by just spreading the word. I most likely won't be going back because I felt awkward and unwelcome. I might consider it if all front line hospital staff gets a discount. Pretty much every where else in town does.I spent 11 dollars and it is near Starbucks so I could have just got a large ice coffee for no calories as well as the tea I had which was only ten calories. I live close and never even knew...
Read moreThis is NOT a family establishment. They should be ashamed of how they treated a mother and her baby. Disgraceful. I asked if there was a changing table available and the employee replied no and just stared at me. Offered no alternative. At which point, I looked around the room and asked if the couch was ok to use. She blankly stared at me, clearly wanting to say no, so I explained how cold it is outside and walked over to the couch to use it. I shouldn’t have to explain any of that. I hope she never has to experience a situation where a stranger makes a hard situation harder with a baby. Maybe invest in a changing table and treat all of your customers with respect?
REPLY TO BELOW; Anyone reading the 1 star reviews will see that our experience was not unique. I would’ve waited for the available restroom had there been a table in there. You simply could’ve apologized that your employee was not prepared and you’ll look into a changing table in your bathroom. And yes, 1 star reviews make your business ‘look bad’ because they’re honest and unbiased, unlike yourself. That’s kind of the point and why customers rely on them. Good luck with your business.
Yes, I wanted an apology for you not being well-prepared and you’ve still yet to provide that! BAD...
Read moreMy daughter introduced me to The Healthy Edge, as she is the more healthy-minded of the two of us. I assumed that for the sake of speed, I had to settle for breakfast each morning from the typical fast food stops, and as a result was nearing the end of my current belt's capacity. I have stopped at The Healthy Edge every morning since, sampling through several flavors until I found my favorite. The staff now knows me by my shake when I come in each morning and only asks if that's what I want to confirm my choice. Since starting this ritual, I'm down nearly 20 pounds and 2 belt notches... and couldn't be happier. They offer a variety of flavors... even though I am a creature of habit and stay with my favorite. Having been a weight lifter in my younger days, I've tried A LOT of protein shakes, and I feel the flavor and performance of The Healthy Edge shakes rival any I've found. When I come in, if she is working, Bridgette (the owner) always greets me by name. So far, my only complaint is that I have not found a shake or add-in that provides me the same energy and enthusiasm as Bridgette. ...
