I cannot express how disappointing my experience with Incredibly Delicious Bakery was when it came to our wedding cake. From the start, the woman in charge of planning and taking our customization requests was incredibly short and unenthusiastic. It felt like we were bothering her, and the entire process lacked any sense of care or attention to detail.
To make matters worse, they only communicate via email—no phone calls are allowed to make quick requests or follow-ups. Even when you call the main line, they refuse to speak to you directly.
We were charged $400 for a cake that served only 70 people, which felt incredibly overpriced. On the day of pick-up, we couldn’t reach anyone because they were “busy” and the person in charge of our cake wasn’t working that day. They told us the cake was sitting in their “basement,” and despite the fact that their bakery has people living in it, no one reached out to let us know we had to pick up the cake before their early closing time.
What really stood out to me was that other businesses, even for items much less expensive than a wedding cake, usually provide courtesy reminders. Whether it's suit rentals, bridal bouquets, or even a pizza order, every other vendor we worked with took the time to send a reminder or confirmation. But this bakery didn’t bother, and instead locked their doors at 2:00 PM, refusing to answer calls, emails, or Instagram messages.
When I went the next business day, there was no apology or attempt to make things right. I even offered to pay for the full cost of the cake and asked for a refund of the profit margin as a small consolation, but they flat-out refused. The owner seemed eager to get rid of me rather than address the issue.
It’s clear this bakery has a history of poor customer service, as their reviews reflect. They are incredibly overhyped and should not be trusted with any important event, let alone a wedding. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and respectful service. This experience was a...
Read moreWe are beyond disappointed with our experience at this bakery. We chose them for our wedding cake based on great reviews from friends, but what should have been a memorable day was ruined by their complete lack of customer service. On our wedding day, in all the chaos, we forgot to pick up our cake. However, what is truly unacceptable is that the bakery made no effort to remind us—no call, no email, no follow-up of any kind.
When we forgot my bridal bouquet, the amazing flower store made sure to call and remind us to pick it up, but for something as important as the wedding cake? Nothing. It is baffling that when you spend hundreds of dollars on a wedding cake, you don't get the courtesy of a reminder. To make matters worse, after realizing the mistake, we called them multiple times through Instagram, email, and phone—no one answered. We didn’t even know the store was closed that Saturday and we were left out without any response from this place.
What makes this even harder to accept is that when you spend $10 on a takeout Chinese meal, they always call to remind you to pick it up. Yet for something as important as a wedding cake, a simple reminder would have gone a long way. This lack of communication was incredibly upsetting. As the bride, I was in tears just moments before my wedding because of something that should have been avoided. We had a good experience selecting the cake, but the utter disregard for our special day left us feeling completely let down.
It’s hard to understand how a business that handles such important moments for people could fail so completely in customer service. At least they could have let us know the store was going to be closed the day of our wedding. We will never recommend this...
Read moreFirst of all - the food was very good. We had quiche, soup and chicken salad. The house is unique and lovely and it was a nice lunch to visit with friends. However, the walk and stones getting into the dining area were terribly uneven and just really dangerous and there was no handicap entrance that we could find. Once inside there was no direction or signage. Do we sit and they take our order, or do we stand in line? A little confusing. We indeed had to stand in a single line, the menu was only posted on the door so you had to wait until you were at the door and then under the gun to decide quickly because there weee other waiting behind you and you were holding up the line. It was a LONG standing time in the line. The “bakery” order area is very cramped and tiny and in a room- it wasn’t like you could stand to the side an peruse all the goodies before you picked what you wanted- again people waiting behind you. There was ONE cash register and the cashier was trying to multi- task: take orders, get drinks, grab pastries, follow you to you table with stuff that you couldn’t carry in one trip - no trays. Just VERY disorganized and chaotic. The seating area was nice and pretty. This is not a fast food place where you can grab and go so why not have a seated service with servers taking your order with REAL menus that you can actually take time to peruse and decide what to eat? The current set up would work for ONE person who knew what they wanted and could get in and out in a hurry not didn’t work for a...
