My husband and I have ate here numerous times since moving to springfield. It used to be our favorite! Placed a order threw grub hub for the first time yesterday and it was ridiculous the order was bourbon and general chicken, first off both orders were not as good as they usually are. Barely any chicken compared to vegetables and the sauce! food was cold and as for the general chicken it was so bad I threw it away it was so covered in sauce that it was unbearable to eat. We usually give our 2 year old parts of the eggroll and it was so fried and dark we couldn't give her any of it. Like it had beeb sitting out far too long or forgot about in the frier. so we called the restaurant and told them about it and thought that everything was going to be fine they said they would replace it and wondered what time I would be there so i told them and arrived at that said time but then everything changed the person I talked to on the phone never mentioned bringing the food, which I would have done and that now since I did not have it with me they will not replace it I wasnt asking for a refund just my order made right than the store manager came to the window and also told me he will not give out free food that I should contact grub hub which I did and they also contacted the store and they ran them around the Bush to said the manager will call them back when he arrives that he was not present. do not eat here I have never had someone so cheap they can't replace a bad order. I ordered gluten free sweet & sour chicken, a side of vegetables and an order of 4 chicken wings. I requested the meal be made spicy: it was not but that was the least of my problems.
The food was bland, terrible tasting, I hit no utensils to eat with (although my delivery name and address was a local hotel), I hit 3 wings instead of the 4 that I paid $8 for and nothing was seasoned.
I called the restaurant and asked why I was not sent utensils to eat with and was told that I declined them (ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!) I’m staying at a hotel so I absolutely needed something to eat with.
I asked her why I was only given three wings instead of the four that I ordered and she had first said she needed to ask her manager and then she said “well we ran out of them, we don’t have any more.”
Didn’t asked why wasn’t my order spicy as I requested and she said “well you wanted to gluten-free and pepper contains gluten “. So I asked her could they not have just used the pepper flakes and she said she didn’t know she was very unapologetic did not attempt to make this order right or satisfied me as a customer.
I travel quite a bit and the company. I am with send people to this area multiple times per week. I will absolutely let my experience be known and I will never eat from this place again.

Read moreThis restaurant abuses delivery people on a regular basis. This review from me should have been done a long time ago. Over the last three and a half years I have been delivering food in the Springfield area. Kings Asian Chef very rarely has the food ready for delivery people to pick up and worse yet they make delivery people wait while they make everybody else's food first. Restaurants like this know when they have delivery orders, in other words they have a heads up and need to start the order at least before the delivery person arrives. Long wait times causes delivery people to lose money. The last time I picked up food from this restaurant will be the last time. I arrived and there was only one other delivery person sitting in the dining room waiting on an order. So I sat down and in the meantime the staff began taking drive-thru orders for cars that were not there when I arrived and made us wait until they made all of these other people's food. The person waiting at home was the first person in line. At that time the customer waiting at home was the person who ordered first but they sure did get their food last. The lack of courteousness and respect for people who deliver your food is absolutely unacceptable. Don't waste people's time or their gas. Make the orders on time and stop abusing your delivery people. I however will never be back to eat as a customer or to deliver any more food from your horrible horrible...
