I placed an order through the App, received a code, and gave it to the employee at the speaker. They couldn’t find it, but I confirmed I was at the correct location (Memorial Blvd, Springfield). I was told to pull around, and when I got to the window, the App updated and said my order “hit a snag” and would be refunded.
I showed the employee, explaining all I wanted was a Coke. Instead of offering to ring it in or provide any solution, she just looked at me, whispered into her headset, and didn’t acknowledge my issue. At the next window, the employee acted hesitant to even come to me. When she finally did, I explained the situation again, only to be asked (yet again) if I was at the right location. No apology. No effort to make it right. No concern for the inconvenience. Just “I’ll look at it” and she looked away, so I commented as I pulled off that I'd contact corporate about it.
As a General Manager of another local restaurant, I can say with full confidence this level of customer service is unacceptable. Guests should never feel ignored, dismissed, or made to feel like a nuisance. Whispering in headsets, brushing off the issue, and refusing to offer solutions shows a clear lack of training, professional maturity, and most importantly, respect for the guest.
I have supported this location daily—ordering drinks on the App every day. But after this experience, I won’t be returning. I always try to support other businesses in the community, but when a team demonstrates that they don’t care about their guests, they lose...
Read moreIf I could put zero Stars I would. I am currently pregnant. THE WATER WAS NOT WATER. AND IF Y'ALL MESS UP A CUSTOMER'S ORDER Y'ALL KNOW THAT THEY COMING BACK SO WHY NOT HAVE THE ORDER FIXED AND READY FOR THEM!? It's common sense you can't mess up water!! For me to have to go in and get into an argument with two female employees & the first female wants to be so argumentative and defensive about the other girl "not meaning to and only making a mistake." Yeah it's a huge mistake a mistake y'all didn't try to fix. Like.. how do you know that it's "soda water?" That's just something that she could have told you. No one tried it but me. And for the employees to be laughing like it's a joke that's what really blew me. To also be told be quiet by management for a mess up that their employees made had me at 10000 like YES I'M MAD ABOUT WATER! WHAT IF I WOULD HAVE HAD A MISCARRIAGE THEN WHAT? Anyone would have been mad to go and order water. Just for the water to turn out not to be water and the person that passed me the water had a smile. I'm not thinking anything of it I'm thinking she's having a good day but now I feel like I was targeted and she meant to do what she did because she let me pull off with it thinking that I wasn't going to come back and address the situation at hand. But when I do come back now she wants to tell another employee after the fact of me leaving that it was soda water and y'all are upset that I'm coming back but you don't even have my water ready make it...
Read moreI will NEVER come here again and I sincerely hope that McDonalds goes out of business forever because McDonalds is what is wrong with this entire world. You are the dirtiest, most incompetent, rudest, most poorly trained, and uncaring restaurant in the world. Your employees ignore the front counter to try to force customers to use the filthy bacteria ridden kiosks. The employees are openly hostile to customers who wait to be served by a human. I witnessed employees lie to 2 different customers while I waited 25 minutes to not get my food and eventually get a refund. Employees told customers that they were required to use the kiosks or go to the drive through. But people don’t want to go to the drive through because, not only is it IMPOSSIBLE to get treated with respect or get a correct order, the employees are TIMED at how long someone is at their window so they send people off to park and wait for their food, illustrating to the customer that the important thing is numbers, not customers. I told my son how children used to want nothing more than to have their birthday parties at McDonalds when I was a kid, and now it’s just a place that smells like sewage (literally) that people don’t yet realize how bad it actually is because they are so busy, but people are gradually catching on, and I hope more than anything that this scourge on society disappears forever. I hate McDonalds. And my wife says your...
