— It was my first visit to the Panera Bread Cafe in Springfield, and I must say, it left a lasting impression. The place was bustling, even the drive-through had a steady line. Despite the crowd, the ordering process was smooth, and I received my food in no time.
— I ordered the Greek salad and creamy tomato soup. At $6.99 plus tax, it’s a bit on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it. The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the soup was creamy perfection. The bread was light and oil-free, maintaining a perfect balance of softness and crispness. Everything tasted amazing, and I felt good about the quality of ingredients.
— Ambiance Alert! The cafe was spotless, from the dining area to the service counters. It has a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for spending quality time with friends or family.
— Service Delight: With a self-service system, ordering was easy, and I didn't experience any long wait times despite the busy crowd. The staff was efficient, keeping everything organized and moving swiftly.
— Cleanliness Count: From the tables to the floors, the hygiene levels were outstanding, and it added to the comfort of dining here.
— Overall: Panera Bread in Springfield is a fantastic spot for anyone seeking quality food in a pleasant, clean environment. If you’re up for a little splurge on great taste and top-notch quality, this cafe is highly recommended for a satisfying...
Read moreI really wish it was good. Let me start by saying I like this chain in general and if you are in Springfield and have time you are better off going to the location on the north end of town. Drive through is closed. The app isn't much better because the employees don't update their stock on their end so everything I try to get is sold out. This is especially true for bagels. One thing that was nice is I have the coffee subscription and the coffee WAS decent. Now they don't prepare it for me anymore which is a small complaint to be sure but then when I do see myself the coffee is cold or super weak. The staff is hit or miss. A couple of the older employees there are friendly and do a decent job taking my order (that you have to go in and place essentially) but the inflated prices of Panera was normally offset by quality and speediness but that is just not true at this location. Other things that I would normally just over look if literally anything else was good but the parking lot is small and difficult to get in and out of. I suppose I am just confused as to why the drive through is closed I had assumed they were just short staffed but then when you go in there I always see at least 2 people just standing around seeming to have a great time. But they can't make my coffee and give it to me though the window? If they ever improve I will edit this review. But I doubt it since customer service and quality is a general problem in...
Read moreI placed a to go order through the drive thru but when I went to the drive thru it was very backed up and not moving for a good while. I decided to go inside to pick it up assuming it would be ready since I placed the order well over 30 minutes ago and I got only three items. The girl who I was talking to at the pick up was extremely unfriendly and treated everyone who spoke to her like they were stupid and was moving in slow motion. I asked about my order and she told me that it wasn’t ready yet which was fine, however as I stood there and waited several others got their order before mine and she was clearly ignoring me. I just left and went through the drive thru again which means more waiting for 30 minutes to be exact (completely defeats the purpose of a pick up order) She looked and sounded high out of her mind and should not be put in charge of talking to customers if she has zero customer service skills. Don’t put your rudest employees in charge of customers. Also maybe get some employees with a sense of urgency instead of wasting peoples time. Everytime I come here the drive thru is always moving at 1 person every 15 minutes...
