I have been going to Robert’s Seafood since I was a little girl , many many years ago and it was downtown. It is a WONDERFUL place with the BEST fish ever, especially their cooked shrimp and cocktail sauce and their steaks are to die for. The Olive Oils are the best and so many vinegars and oils to choose from. And they will help you pair oils and vinegars for all foods and all occasions. You can buy your fresh veggies there, your sauces and seasonings, crackers and soups and if you need to do a Charcuterie Tray they have everything you want and even offer classes. It is a one stop shop . The people are WONDERFUL. Nice and kind and are always happy to see you and always care about their customers. So if you have not been there you need to put it on your list. Valentines would be a perfect start for that perfect dinner and of course Super Bowl would be great too. It is a family business that was run by Grandpa, his son and now granddaughter Andrea (Robert’s) McLaughlin who is an AMAZING person. She has that genetic retail gene and does a beautiful job running that store. She truly knows her business. So take the time to stop and look around and do not hesitate to ask questions. I love this place it has an incredible selection of seafood, vegetables,and beef. The staff here are always eager to help, and also have a good understanding of what they are selling and how to cook it. I sometimes drive an hour and a half to get here from my home just for the lobster tails,and the person behind the counter always gives me ice so my meat survives it's long journey into my oven. I’ve been to seafood markets all over the world and never received this level of poor customer service. I’ve been here twice now and the food selection and style is nice. However, each time, the staff(Ryan?) has acted like a snob when we wanted to order several oysters. We were told we needed to order ahead, meanwhile the place was empty and the staff appeared bored.
