I usually love coming to Scooters but today was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was placing my regular order in the drive thru and as I asked for an XL Sea Salt Caramelicious I was told they were out but could do a regular iced caramelicious which was fine. I then went to order a a cinnamon roll and before I could continue ordering the woman taking my order cut me off and told me to Scoot around. I then said I actually have a couple other items I need to order please. It took a minute before she got back on for me to continue my order. I then asked for 2 of the Caramelicious cake bites and a bacon burrito. She then directed me to pull around again so I did when I got to the window I was not greeted in a cheery manner like every experience I’ve had prior. The women at the window told me my total charged my card and then handed me my straw and was having difficulty getting the cinnamon roll out of the container which seemed to frustrate her as she then dropped the fork on the floor and did not have a smile when handing me a LG Iced caramelicious which was not what I ordered but I didn’t want to frustrate her anymore so I took it and waited for the remainder of my food. I received my cinnamon roll next followed by my cake bites which she was yelling at another employee to go get for her. She had a very snippy attitude when asking me if I wanted them in separate bags. I told her one bag was fine. Next was my bacon burrito which this was the most disappointing part of my visit. Usually I have sauce in the bag but this visit it was just the burrito and she had cooked it in the same oven with my cinnamon roll. My bacon burrito is completely covered in cinnamon roll and all sticky there was no wrapping around the burrito like usual. Todays visit was the worst I’ve ever had with...
Read moreI am reviewing Scotters cold brew and price only. I stopped going to Scotters, the first time becuase of the prices. In all fairness, I dont get Starbucks becuase of the prices either. But I do feel if your going to charge more than Starbucks, it should be better in quality and quanity than Starbucks. I tend to make my own at home and only go by a shop once in a awhile when I missed the chance of making some at home.
Ive been on a big cold brew kick for awhile now, ive had cold brew from almost every place in town. I decided to get a large cold brew this morning from Scotters. I paid almost 5 dollars for 20 ounces of watered down coffee. You shouldnt be able to see clearly through cold brew, thats how I know it was weak, that and the taste. My guess is that they are using half portions on the coffee to save money or they didnt let it steep long enough or they filtered it instead of straining.
Cold brew, should be a 2/3 cup of coffee per quart of water. The end result should be a thicker than water, but thinner then milk like consistency, and very rich in coffee taste. What I got tasted like water with a hint of coffee flavor.
I hope this was just some one off experience and the next time I come by they have a better cold brew. Thanks...
Read moreWishing I had a cup of Scooter's right now haha. Prices are a little bit high but, they have been on point every time I wanted to be lazy but still treat myself. Every once in a while I've had a latte or cappuccino here. I've been grinding and brewing my own coffee at home for years now and have become kind of a picky connoisseur. I still don't know all the lingo that comes with the different preparations etc and I greatly appreciate the employees I have spoken with. I only usually ask them about two dozen questions every single time I visit lol, to further understand their coffee processes and about other items offered on their menu. Every time now, l have received understandable answers and a wonderful, glad-to-help attitude! I definitely don't mind paying the extra because the service and quality have yet to disappoint! Thank you to the coffee technicians that have served me here....
